No issues with me. Only 300 miles or so, but I hook up to AA for Google Maps on every ride.

The wireless charger overheats my iPhone pretty badly. Been using that in conjunction w/wireless CarPlay and at times the phone is unresponsive due to heat.

I think plugging in is better for longer trips.

My phone can get pretty warm when on the wireless charger at home and I'm using it. I don't think it's uncommon.
