I'm betting the space is plenty big enough for large phones. It is on other Fords. Why would they put a narrow one in the Bronco?

Going by what we know on the Bronco I wouldn't base anything on what is done in other vehicles.

I think they are going to drop in at an angle. In addition, the location varies based on choice of transmission.
