I have heard of no bad 2.3's and it was a small run of 2.7's, "so many"...where? The 2.7 has been in F150's for a long time. Keep in mind that the internet and those dumb YouTube reviewers artificially amplify the negatives. There are far more people that are very happy with their BRONCOS and few with problems. After seeing so many reports of bad 2.3 and the v6 engines on til too and other forums, I am truly beginning to worry. I have a 2.3 BigBend that I love which I have had for 17 months now and only 6500 miles. No issues thus far but everyone is saying 12 to 15k and these engines are knocking, locking up. Just worried after pay over 50k + crazy financing.
The 2.7 has one major design flaw. No manual transmission. The 2.7 is a wonderful design and most people have great successs with them.
Given the issues with the manual maybe that was a good idea. The 2.7 has one major design flaw. No manual transmission.
The better exhaust note of the V6 would probably make the grinding noise more livable.Given the issues with the manual maybe that was a good idea.
dealer had price jacked up ! fed up with that dealer as well.....outrageousI can’t get my head around this.
This is like voting for a politician, the better option is still awful. The better exhaust note of the V6
Let me guess those plastic oil coolers? My son is a mechanic in an independent shop and says he’s never had to work on a 2.3 ecoboost. The engine he repairs the most is the 3.6 Jeep V6.
