I want to see the other engineering designs that were rejected in favor of the Zip tie. Someone at Ford must have been watching David Freiburger on Roadkill and then they had to one up David with their own Zip tie moment.

Could it be that the zip tie made it easier to bolt-in and they just didn't take the time to remove it?Just picked up my new Bronco last Friday. Noticed a zip tie appearing to partially support the windshield washer bottle. Anyone else have this?
Honestly I dont think its supposed to come off .... the tie has tension on itIs that covered under the drive line 5/60K warranty, or just the regular 3/36 warranty. Inquiring minds want to know.
Seriously, I'm guessing that falls under the catagory of "You had one job to do". And that was to cut that thing off before the truck left the assembly line.
Yes Yes that's what I want to do on a 2021 $50k car ..... carry a a hose and a funnel in the back in case i want to fill the washer fluid up at a gas stationFor those of you wondering how to fill it.
You can attach a hose to the end of a funnel and snake the hose down the filler neck.
Engineering at it's finest. It looks like a little insurance since the filler is cantilevered out there a bit.
Then don’t buy one. Maybe you can ask someone to hold your purse while you figure it outYes Yes that's what I want to do on a 2021 $50k car ..... carry a a hose and a funnel in the back in case i want to fill the washer fluid up at a gas station
