I went this route - these (A-pillar pods) were under $20 and didn't involve hacking the Bronco. They can be turned and pivoted to any angle to light the way.
Ford Bronco Zone Lighting over 5mph? FrontLightBar

The bumper light bar on the other hand... WAY MORE LIGHT.

Yes, I believe Ford could Enable this feature with a future over the air update.

Please Ford -- Do This

I'll message gen5diy.com and see if they can figure out a plug and play harness for us. They have a fog light/high beam override for my Bison as well as moving my DRL lights to the turn signal using switchback bulbs. I'm sure they can figure it out.

They have a diy kit to eliminate auto stop/start from turning on every time you get in the Bronco.

I heard back from Gen5diy.com, unfortunately not good news, however the Responder does own a Bronco, so I'm guessing he's already looked into it.

Hi Seth, thank you for the inquiry. I actually have a badlands myself. I know exactly what you mean with the mirror lights, unfortunately that is all computer controlled stuff and not something that we can change
However, someone might be able to figure something out in Forscan or see if the jumper cable like the f150 vid would work.

I'd love to see this as well. Driving up the mtn at night, super handy on switchbacks.

So, I would think that these mirror lights would be Very Valuable on trails / off road.

Ford could equip us with this and just have a disclaimer that these lights are to be used off road only.

I mean, how many of us have off road lights putting out crazy lumens already.

From what I know there is no way to enable this in Forscan, though I wonder if rasing the MPH might be possible. I'd be OK if they at least stayed on until 10mph, but 25 would be better.

I though someone was making a cable that allowed this as well as the camera to be turned on, but I can't find it now. HEre is a good thread on doing it to an F150 Raptor:
