Lobo Off-Road now offers a range of accessory mounts for the spare tire area of your 2021+ Ford Bronco. There is an Antenna/Whip Mount, a Light Mount Kit that can be added to it, and a complete kit that includes all of these components. All of the brackets are CNC laser cut and brake-formed 3/16 sheet steel, powder coated with a light-textured black finish.

The Antenna/Whip Mount attaches to a pair of CNC machined threaded stand-offs that replace the top two lug nuts for your spare tire. Both the bracket mounting bolts and the hex on the standoff match the Bronco's lug nut wrench size so they can all be quickly and easily removed using the same wrench or socket when the spare tire is needed. The Antenna/Whip Mount has a center hole sized for mounting most radio antennas and dune flags or whips, plus mounting holes for the optional Light Mounts on either side.

The Light Mount Kit includes two CNC laser cut sheet metal light mounts that attach to either side of the Whip Mount, with included hardware. They have a mounting hole for attaching an LED pod light on either side of the Whip Mount. These lights can be configured as revers lights, dust or chase lights, or flood lights for work or camp illumination.

Please note that currently these components are compatible with the stock spare tire carrier and aftermarket spare tire carriers that have the spare tire lug studs in the stock orientation (two lugs at the top, level to each other). Aftermarket spare tire carriers that have clocked the lug studs 30 degrees (with one lug at the top-center) are not currently compatible but we are working on a variation to fit them.

Looks good, just what I'm going to need for Sand Hollow. Hey Chris what's with that funky looking whip, is that an extra LED light at the base of it?

Exactly what I was looking for to replace my Baja Designs mount, but $25 for shipping seems excessive.

Thank you Dusty!! Yes the whip has a additional LED that is rear facing. I am a dealer for a company that makes the LED/ fiber optic whips. The Rear facing LED is amber on mine, I am going to put a flasher in line and use it as my chase light. The whips come in many different configurations. You can choose any color for either LED: blue, red, amber, white, green etc.

Website is pulling live rates from our ups account. I have notice a increase in cost of shipping, I am assuming it is in relation with fuel cost.

Sucks, but not a deal breaker, so I placed an order for the full kit.

The Baja Designs bracket is huge and unappealing, so I've been waiting for something like this. I currently have a BrandMotion rear camera between the BD lights, but it's all very snug and doesn't allow for any adjustment. The modular design of your kit should fit my needs perfectly!

Thank you for the order, will be going out this week.

I think it is a neat option, but mounting anything needing wiring through the spare causes one heck of an inconvenience when pulling the spare. I have relocated my license plate to the spare tire and now I have to make sure my tool kit has the right tools to disconnect this when I need to pull the spare.

‘just saying….another consideration

Yup and that just deals with the wiring. I am not complaining, just pointing out the obvious additional work that needs to be considered and engineered into any of our DIY and 3rd party products.

A flat doesn’t usually happen at good time.

I think Chris has addressed that reasonably well with this item. He made sure this thing comes off using the same wrench you use to get the spare tire off, and it's only two bolts. Use a WeatherPack or some other quick-disconnect for the wiring and it's really not that big of a deal. Things get a little more complicated if you're running an antenna rather than just a whip, but there are QD's for that too. That said, I've done a lot of wheeling and have had to use the spare tire on the trail maybe 4 or 5 times in 25 years. As rare as it is to actually need to get at it, an extra minute to disconnect the whip mount isn't unreasonable if it provides a function you want.

As Dusty mentioned, WeatherPack connectors work well for this. Pulling this mount off to access the spare shouldn't add more than two minutes to the whole procedure.

I know where you are coming from, I was anti anything in the way of the spare tire. That's was a huge factor in my license plate relocation kit. However. when designing the whip mount, I found using the tire as a bumper would help prevent the whip from swinging into the body, and then with the added accessory brackets, it has just escalated from there.

This looks good, what are the chances of adding a License Tag bracket onto this setup as well?
