Off-grid power when overlanding... My install

Put together a quick vid of how I stay powered up when I'm off-grid in my Bronco...

Nice system, Eric. You could probably market and sell that as a project kit to interested buyers on this forum, fi you were so inclined. Good work!

It was a LOT of running around for proper cabling, terminals, parts, etc. Kinda wish someone else already had something on the market. Lol

Excellent work. Routing with purpose also is very satisfying.
As a side note, story/detail on that sweet ink on your forearm?

If anyone is considering a similar build and has any questions, just ask... I'll help out wherever possible.
I didn't want to go into TOO much detail in the vid and put a lot of you to sleep lol

Can I assume the wiring, controllers, etc. are covered by the fridge?

That photo is helpful. You've removed the rear seat, and taken up cargo floor space to make this work . . . My back is stuffed with "stuff"! How long can you run your frig on a 100ah battery? I was looking at putting some smaller batteries in parallel under the floor, hard to find a place for a battery!

Whats your opinion on :

1) Dual battery systems by RedArc

Information I have found on the Grenadier AUX battery:

• Includes the 230V inverter
• Pure Sine Wave Inverter.
• Both the standard battery and optional auxiliary battery are 12V 105Ah Moll Batteries
• Auxiliary Charge Points only includes an additional 12V socket, USB-A and USB-C (USBs on the back of the centre console, 12V in rear load space) two rear of the centre console and one one in the back of the load bay.
• The battery is stored under the right hand seat in the second row.
• The battery is Leads acid battery (incased) and the dimensions are 394 x175 x190.
• Wiring to the roof and front and rear outlets plus switches are included with the Auxiliary battery.

Nice setup! Thinking of doing something similar.
