Snow recovery - rescued 4Runner with Base Bronco

Another evening playing in the snow. Got a call to go rescue a 4Runner, -20 outside, got him out.

Nice to look at, but I'm over the cold.

It's supposed to be 81 on Christmas, I'm going surfing, then maybe sailing

@kramkul I agree with you. we are supposed to have a -11 Wind Chill Friday in Georgia.

Nice! Are you on rescue team? Or just being nice? We are cold in Iowa like mentioned above I hate it more and more the older I get!

What winch setup are you using? Looks like a hidden winch. Oh and good job.

We live in LA and Christmas will be a brisk 79 degrees. My daughter however is currently waiting for her college acceptance letter for Univ of Wisconsin. I don't think she knows what she is in for. And I'm not telling her.

We were supposed to go camping up in Dahlonega Thursday to Saturday. Thank god one of us thought to check the weather.

It always cracks me up watching the news and seeing 2 inches of snow in a southern state causes total chaos.

You ain't wrong. They canceled school the day before it was "supposed" to snow one time. Didn't snow, still no school. It's crazy train down here sometimes.

To be fair, I have lived in Maine and NY and have never once driven on a road as bad as Georgia when it snows.

Usually our storms start with rain, which then freezes to a good 1/2 to 1" of black ice and then get the 1-2" of snow on top.

I refuse to drive in it here, it's just flat out dangerous.

It’s cute when people talk about ‘cold’ winter weather and it’s above zero with maybe a slightly below zero wind hill. Will be -40-60 windchill with blizzard conditions from now until Saturday. We’ll see how the Bronco heater keeps up.
