Just some quick pics of the new set up, installed during a snowfall , lol.
NO LIFT ... crash bars have been removed
Method 703 "Bead Grips" in Gloss Titanium
17 x 8.5 +35mm
Toyo Open Country A/T 3
35 x 11.5 - 17 ... load range C
Wheel 28.7 lbs
Tire ... 63 lbs
let say .. 92lbs total

No rub at static height or full droop, not even close.... haven't flexed it upwards yet (stuffed).
Just the 2.25" of added height really change the look of this thing. She's one burly bitch now! LOL
I thought I wanted the 33.9" 285/75 , but these became available first, load range C ... so I jumped. I'm glad I did!

Drive-ability ... These 35's have pushed the manual from being very over geared to just slightly under geared, very slightly. I actually prefer the way it drives now. 1st is much more useable and the 1-2 shift is A LOT smoother. It's like 1st was too low and second was too close of a gear but not quite enough to launch from , so it made the 1-2 shift pretty jerky. I'm not the only one who has mentioned the same feeling about the manuals 1-2 shift.
If I had to guess, I'd say a 33" 285/70-17 would have nailed it.
Now to the pics , if you haven't already scrolled past all this drivel.

Update, added pics
fyi ... spare sits nice and snug on the support bumpers. JUST kisses the thrid brake light.

Nice look. That reinforces what I was thinking...35mm offset works well with the smaller flares. You did well.

Thank you. This saves me from making a post. I've been curious how a true 35 will fit without a lift. I see many posts about 315/70-17.

Looks fantastic. I’ve been having a hard time envisioning which color wheel would look good on Iconic Silver - trying to get away from black rims. This looks perfect in AMB. Nice choice.

I switched from the 35x11.5 to the 285x75 because I’m sticking with my steelies. But, that math sounds like I could have cleared the 35s with the 1.1” lift from the Bilsteins. Also saved $250 on 5 and only lost that 0.6” (35s are actually 34.5 at 63 lbs and 285 are 33.9 at 59 lbs).

Where’d you find the 35s? Mine are backordered until March. I saw SimpleTire had them - but $$$.

I like. I went with the same but 704. They match the roof IMO.

liking the look a lot with the tires tucked into the flares and not really sticking out!

Looks great! I have the same wheels on order in black and will probably do the 285/70/17 once they come in.

Thank you. This saves me from making a post. I've been curious how a true 35 will fit without a lift. I see many posts about 315/70-17.
Yeah, most tires stated as a 33 or 35 etc etc USUALLY measure about 1/2" smaller.
Toyo say 34.5" on these.
I view the "35's" and 315/70's as the same, you're talking a tenth inch or two difference is all.
Each brand MAY be different, fwiw....

Where’d you find the 35s? Mine are backordered until March.
Well, let's see ... pull up a chair, grab a beer, it's a story...
.... I was getting frantic seeing est. ship dates of MAR or APR
.... was checking about every major place that has tires several (hundred) times a day. LOL
... was strongly leaning towards the 285/75 , but since there was only .6" diff , I was checking on these 35's also.
... all of a sudden, one day, Summit Racing had 5 on hand, ready to ship .... I jumped on them MF'ers so freaking fast. LOL

Similar with the wheels. Method didn't even list the +35 Titanium, apparently they were not getting released until late DEC (im guessing) ... I had to figure out there part number encryption, Google searched that ... found a few sites listing them that way .... not in stock BUT "We can alert you when they are available" !
I set the alerts at a few places, CARiD sent the alert first, but I could only get 4 .... was able to score the 5th a few days later, same place.

Also, need to add, I bought Motorcraft TPMS68 sensors (Rock Auto), they have been read by the system with no issues ... BUT ... I am uncertain if they read the correct position when you look at the screen.
I installed the wheel/tire on the Bronco myself, tire place only mounted and balanced. (local Firestone)
They said they would check it for me and reprogram if needed.

Got some hwy miles on them today. NO issues. VERY smooth. Just a VERY VERY slight hum. The wind noise is far louder than the tire hum.

The knuckle pivots at the UCA, so it shouldn't really change as they are turned or if the suspension moves from droop to stuff.
There is a pic above at left turn lock full droop.

As it is, this wheel at +35 and the 11. 5" section width, the inside of the tire rides EXACTLY where the stock steelie/255 combo rode. .... .04" difference according to tiresize.com.

Therefore, the spare bolted right up, just nudging the 3rd brake light.
Dammit, forgot to take a pic last night.
