Here is factory roof rack parts diagram. Now we need to get Ford to give us a kit at a reasonable price, so start bugging them. Also if anyone can turn this into part numbers I can actually find on the internet that would be awesome.

Is there some kind of universal clamp that will fit onto the cross bars with a bolt hole in it? I was able to buy these for my stock Xterra roof rack, and it allowed me to easily mount my Con-Ferr roof rack.

You will want aftermarket once you see the prices for the Ford rail parts.šŸ˜²
I feel like there should be a kit at an acceptable price, its only $395 installed from the factory.....

Yeah, my dealer said all this adds up to over $1800!

Anyone know when the first aftermarket roof rack rails will be available?

I wanted aftermarket even more once I saw real life photos from deliveries and saw how ugly, bulky and terribly designed they are.

Really curious on what the 2022 version will look like too.

Try building a Bronco from the ground up using the parts from the parts department. 50k will seem like a huge discount!

With all the hoopla about a new rack design for 2022 we can only hope someone will come out with an aftermarket rack for the 2021's. That will be a pretty limited pool of cars to design and bring to market a rack for. Unless Ford makes it an accessory, we might be buying an $1800 Ford parts rack.

Iā€™m assuming the mounting points up front wonā€™t change. The side mounts are clamshell and theyā€™re not changing the MIC top designā€¦

I thought I read it was the way the rack mounts that was changing and possibly the MIC was going to be changed to accommodate it. All to fix whatever problem there was keeping them from going on the 4dr sasquatch. All rumor of course. I hope it's bad info.

This might be the post I am thinking about:

This is super disappointing and frustrating on many levels.

1. Any aftermarket companies that get their hands on MY21 early and design something - it will be usable for what - 40-50k vehicles?

2. It took Webesto this long to figure out itā€¦now theyā€™re gonna change the design?

3. I too want a sturdy rack that can hold more that 110 lbsā€¦but, if this info was true - Iā€™d happily change to MY22 knowing that my options will be greater for years to come if itā€™s a better design that stays in production for years (and not months).

Anyone know the length of the side rails and cross bars, please (specifically for the 2-dr)? The prices online are crazy as a heart-attack.
