Bronco grilles being sold on craigslist

Personally I wouldn't buy obviously stolen preproduction/prototype stuff, butI think this is the first example of how even the lettering seemingly snaps in.

Pretty cool to see how they piece together! I do agree it's a little sketchy and would not recommend contacting the seller.

Well, at least I know it's going to be a simple process to swap out the grille.

Hehe, send Mike@ford the link to the advertisement. That could be some "love" for B6G.

So, it looks like the letters are removable. That should make them easier to paint hopefully!

Doesn't even have an asking price... even scammers set up an asking price.

Except that the reports are that they are welded in place. So the removal process is destructive. Make sure to buy new letters first.

His pictures are misleading. I thought based on the spelling that he was selling Bronco branded grills, which I would love to see made. These however, are grilles.

There *is* of course a chance these weren't obtained through sketchy means, given (a. the number of dismantlers in this area that do part out pre-production vehicles, and (b. that they have been known to screw up from time to time.

Not defending the guy (and there's no way in hell I'm buying these, lol) but we've seen enough strange stuff pass through dismantlers before...

So the grilles are actually metal? Since when they weld things (letters) like that? I HIGHLY doubt theyre welding letters to the grille. Unless its plastic welded. And even then thats suspect.

However, I would think a drill bit and a screw would be all thats required to re-install letters back after paint.

Damn we’re hurting for new news these days. We need to pump up those pineapple pizza numbers
