Got the e-mail from Ford today saying my Bronco has "arrived" and apoligizing for no longer being able to send baby pictures. Clarified with our (wonderful Northern CA) dealer that "arrived" means at the train, not on their lot. Got our railcar#, started tracing the route w/ CSX automated phone tracking.

Edit: Ford apologized that my Bronco came off the line w/o a photo. The process is still in place.

I’ve seen one downtown and the same OBX in the heights a couple of times. It was either black or AMB.

I’m in the Heights. I’ll keep an eye out for the OBX.

I've been using CSX.. which I was told you use for the whole process?

I just found mine will be shipping on CSX. I have a rail car number, but not sure how to track it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Haven't posted in this yet but, I had a blend date of 1/4/22 and shipped on 1/9/22. Estimated delivery is between 1/28/22-2/3/22. I did get the rail number and it has been interesting watching where it stops. I haven't seen too many Washington deliveries so don't know how long it usually takes. But I have been enjoying reading everyone's comments and appreciate all the new info I have been able to learn from this thread. This has been an exciting journey and cannot wait to finally get into this girl.

Here is the tracking info from an earlier thread by an ? administrator. This worked fine for me this p.m. PM me if it doesn't make sense or doesn't work.

"There are two major rail companies.

CSX is everything east of the Mississippi
UP is everything west of the Mississippi

But they all start out on CSX so once [CSX has] it in their system, they will follow it all the way.

So, how do you track your truck on a railcar?

First and most important. Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use the automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person, please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track.

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, say location.
3. When prompted for the [rail]car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the [rail]car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number completely and clearly (example CN123456) letters and numbers all together

I have got some additional movement this morning.
We left Ft. Worth, TX at 0224 and made it to Crowley, TX @ 0923
So it took 7 hours to travel 30 miles.
They need to speed things up.
We are getting closer and closer.

Question so I know for my delivery estimate, is the date you put for "shipped" on the spreadsheet the date your tracker changed or the date that populated next to shipped on the tracker?

Well, a lot has changed since 12:14 pm. Got a text from my dealer tonight that said, “I got some news today. I’m sorry, but it’s looking like your truck won’t be here until end of Feb.”

And then she sent this…

She’s here! Going to the dealer on my lunch break to chat about financing, already pre-approved with another lender too just in case I don’t love the Ford rates.
