July, 20 reservation, January, 21 order. Not willing to drop the tow package and really don’t want a soft top…makes it hard to install a roof rack! Certainly sounds like Ford is positioning me for a 2023 already.

just got a VIN for a 4Runner after a week, being made in Japan on March 3rd. We’ll see if Toyota gives the same “jerk around” as Ford. Expecting it’ll take Ford another year to fulfill the backlog of orders!

I'm unscheduled AFAIK but haven't received an email.

The only one I have is from Ford confirming my order once the dealer corrected my email address.

No I wish. I ordered it January 11, 2022. Haven’t gotten a VIN or anything. Not expecting to get it until 2023.

Do you have a VIN? I didn't get the email. I have a VIN but I'm not scheduled and unlikely will be for months.

if you have a vin, that means you have a build date. You are scheduled. It’s not one or the other, ask your dealer. Or just call ford and get a bronco specialist. Online chat is useless.

I have a build week estimate, which moves every week. I never got close enough to get an email or show up on the tracker so I have to call to find out how far I got bumped each week. I know that's Ford's definition of scheduled but it's not mine .

BTW - RescueCheckPT2 has a VIN and got the mail (post is earlier in this thread).

Gotcha, email aside, I was kinda just zeroing in on the having a VIN = being scheduled thing.

But on another note, say they average 12900 vehicles a month beginning 3/7, lasting until retooling for 23MY at MAP late November. That is 8 months, everyone who has a VIN right now should have there’s by Christmas. Those who don’t have a vin…maybe? Maybe not?

This is the determining factor on who gets email from what I can tell...especially based on responses here so far. Be interesting to see what each 'version' says.

To continue.... I have a 7/15/20 reservation and by now we all know that means nothing... but to get this letter today... just further pisses me off... maybe by 2023 we might get one!

Everyone on the reservation list knows by now the Ford has no intention of doing the right thing or keeping it's promise. It, like all other auto makers, will prioritize profit over keeping promises to it's customers. The email today it just another PR strategy to placate frustrated reservation holders. Ford and Farley are not going to change their strategy of prioritizing larger dealers and volume sales over being fair to customers and doing what is ethical. The choices on the table are not going to change.
1. Keep your reservation and bend over for the prostate exam in order to get the vehicle you want.
2. Compromise your build to a lesser build without constraints and get out your wallet. Change to a high volume dealer that will probably screw you on price and overpay for truck that is not what you dreamed of.
3. Tell Ford and Farley to F off, cancel your order and never buy from Ford again.

For me I don't need a Bronco I want one. It is not hurting me to wait and I can choose not to take possession if it is ever built (I believe there will come a time in the next year where Ford says screw the bad publicity and drops all the remaining reservations and just builds trucks for dealer lots).. Either way the Bronco will be the last new Ford vehicle I will ever buy. I will not continue to buy from a company that refuses to value me as a customer.

No email for me. 7/20/20 reservation. March 17th 2021 Order. October 2021 re-order. Last email from Ford for me was the confirmation of my October 2021 re-order on 11/2/21.
