Just confirming this information. I was able to contact ford chat and they provided the VIN to me. Dealer said no vin till the week before and I would get it in the email, so of course I contacted ford and asked.
Usually on Fridays we get an indication of what scheduling will be like next week. If they are scheduling next week too (don't hold your breath), then it will be next Thursday just like today.
My dealer had my vin. I put it in Ford pass and it found it.
Is this perry ford in SB? I was a first day reservation but didn’t pull the trigger on order until October of 21. Didn’t get any such email. Bummer but stoked for you!Got a build date that is 2 years to the day since reservation. Badlands, High, MIC, Manual. Took off lux and tow - will add tow and something for the stereo aftermarket. Know others reserved before me, and sincerely hope those who did get similar news quickly. Shoot out to those on ice/dirt mountain, and realize this is just the beginning of the real journey to taking delivery. Shout out as well to all the folks who add great knowledge to the forums, and the search function that helps answer most, if not all, of my questions.
Yup, it is. I might check the back door (gigity) link with your reservation ID or use the customer service chat with the information from your order sheet, as that is what I took the screen shot from (back door link). I was surprised, and Andy typically doesn’t check these things as often as I did, and so my sales guy’s hands are typically tied with any information through the weekend. Fingers crossed for you, as it’s been tough road for us here with such a small dealership.
Not a word. I hate to join all the negativity about Ford but its pretty bad. I just wish they would keep us a little informed. I am worried about what the consequinces will be when we get kicked into 2023. My current build is already 2k cheaper than a late 22 order. I did order a Badlands Sas 4dr Lux with the 2.3 Auto. I also added Tow and hard top so I knew it would be a wait. I just figured I would have a locked price with my order. Bastards..
Well, that sounds positive. I didn't make the cut today but it's nice to see progress being made with dirt mountain and other older orders. That should mean that the rest of us are moving closer and closer to being scheduled... well, at least theoretically anyway
