I just installed the 4 Wheel Parts level lift kit (62210k) on a Carbonized Gray Outer Banks with 295/70R18 (34.2x11.7) Nitto Ridge Grapplers using the stock wheels. I knew the fitment would be tight but it worked out well with zero rubbing. I’ve also tinted the front windshield and 2 front windows. Here are a couple of photos:

Your Bronco looks awesome! I am in Roswell and just brought home my OBX. I was wondering if you think in your opinion that this setup tire size would fit the OBX without a lift. I love the way your wheels/tires look but am personally not looking to lift but would like the same wheel tire setup. Your thoughts are much appreciated! Hope to see you around town.

Others have fit 35s on non-lifted OBX if you remove the crash bars. Also, don't plan on offroading any beyond a fairly flat dirt road.

If you plan on going 34+, a level kit is recommended.

Wondering if the level kit improves clearance with the steering knuckle which is my main concern when running a larger/wider tire with the stock OBX wheel. Or if the leveling kit simply gives you a bit more clearance towards the top of the fender/lining. I may be wrong, but not sure how increasing height by adding the spacer on top/bottom of the strut improves the steering knuckle clearance. The knuckle is essentially in the same spot and you haven't used any offset to push the wheel/tire out when using the stock wheel.

Mainly looking for confirmation on that before ordering the larger tires. Removing crash bars seems to fix the fender/side to side clearance issue.

Also what did you do about the spare?

This looks great, planning on something very similar w my OBX: 275/70/r18 KO2's... originally ordered just a 1 in level kit, but I think I'm gonna swap that out for a 2 in front 1 in rear lift/level.

Really like the stance/height of the regular Badlands w 33's and dare I say Rubicon, and looking to replicate that stance on my OBX coming in. Think the 275/70/r18's and 2 in lift/level will do this?

I have a similar question. Can I get away with only a 1 inch level in the front with the 295/70/r18? It seems like the issue is the width, not the height. Am I wrong?? It’s odd that there are few options for OBX tires without lifting or swapping out rims.

Yes this should work with crash bars removed, especially if you aren't planning on a y hardcore offroading.

Thank you brother! you are saving the day for me. My wife just got her OBX. We had our dealer install the rough country 2" lift with anticipation of going to custom wheels and bigger tires. (and by the way it did void warranty because they put it in $600 well worth it) Now that she has the OBX she likes the stock wheels, which actually look even sillier when you have a lift on it, hence new tires are must now. One question that hasn't been asked is, did you put wheel spacers in? I read another post somewhere where they did that. I live in MA and unfortunately those are illegal here.

Correction.....It did NOT void the warranty

I was told by a bronco specialist shop that 295/70/18 will fit without a lift on the OBX.

Looks sharp! Hows the ride quality? I’m really tempted to do this with my OBX but I don’t want to lose performance in highways since i take lots of road trips.

This looks perfect to me. I have a outer banks on order and changed from the v6 to the 4 cylinder to hopefully get it sooner. Will this set up be ok with the 2.3?

You did a great job on your OBX. I was going to change the color of my order to Carbonized Gray, but the dealer advised me not to due to the delay it would cause. So now I have a Cactus Gray OBX. I love my Bronco, but it definitely needs an upgrade like your did yours. Thank you for posting pics of your Bronco.

I opted to get an non-Sasquach OBX to get my Bronco quicker. Now that I have my OBX I wished that it was "sasquached". Seeing your Bronco gave me a great idea. I appreciate your post!

We bought our Broncos because its a very cool vehicle. Upgrading the tires to as big as possible is just a destiny of every Bronco. If anyone is concerned about the ride quality of their vehicle, should be driving a Toyota Rav4. 🤣🤣🤣

You are not alone. I was trying to switch from Cactus Gray to Carbonized Gray, but I was advised not to due to the delay it would cause. Carbonized Gray looks great on a Bronco. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Good color choice 👍. Looks good here’s my OBX currently. I still need tint.
