Thats a great setup. Those takeoffs are hard to find. Hopefully when ford starts pumping out units theyll be easier to come by.
Thanks! I love it so far and have been lucky to most of these parts from a local forum member. Hopefully you are right!

Those wheels - like my BD optional alloys - will always be hard to find, since the original buyer paid extra to have them in the first place. Unlikely you’ll find too many people selling them…

I think theres 2 sets of black diamond option takeoffs closer to me right now. Considered them too but Id just want the wheels to add bigger tires if i go that route.

My OBX with the Badlands optional wheels and standard 285/70 BFG K02s. I LOVE them.

Love these 33s!
I remember when 33/12.50/15s were "huge" tires. We ran them on everything from Jeeps to 1/2ton trucks! They were extremely capable to tackle anything off-road. Now it's 37s!

I've said it before, but the 285/70r17 is perfection for the daily driven offroader, given how inexpensive (well, relatively) and light the tire options are, and the sheer number of them in load ranges from SL to E.

I love my 'squatched Bronco, but being able to share 80% of the tire offerings in that size with the wife's F250 is not something I enjoy Monday through Friday.

I was wondering what load rating people were going with. I had 10ply tires on my aluminum f150 for a while and they rode horrible. I was thinking like a 6 ply for the bronco?

That’s my inclination, the C load/6ish ply tires seem to be a good compromise between a decent ride on marginal roads and sidewall durability when aired down.

There are a grand total of two honest C-load AT tires in 315/70r17 & 35x12.5, the now-ridiculously priced BFG K02, and the only-slightly-ridiculously-priced Toyo AT3. Other than a similar number of D load range examples, the rest are all E/10 ply.

285/70/17 bfg ko2s, I think it's the perfect size for a 2 door. You don't compromise performance while having a more aggressive look.

Did you have to lift? Ford Dealer here is telling me the 285s won't fit on my Outer Banks.
