Are you talking about these? They work fine if you know what you're doing. I've used them more times than I have fingers & toes to count without an issue. You need to go slow & evenly, keeping them at max distance from each other. They can slide & cause a problem if you don't.And to think people use those cheap part store rentals to do it. I've got a healthy respect for truck coilovers and the pent up energy in the springs.

They are a lot better approach than the guy's in the video YMMV
Agreed, there are better ways if you have the resources & not all tools are of the same quality though they share the same basic designBetter than the guys in the video for sure, but large coilovers are not what those are made for. Those are made for car struts. Just because you can... I value my head.
I use a wall mounted Branick for truck coilovers.
