I respect your opinion and your views on how you don’t need a/c when it’s hot out, but the original subject was about the rear ac vent being on the floor and that the vent should have been on the back of the center console. The back passengers can’t feel the cold air blowing on them when the vent is on the floor. If the vents were regular vents and in a better location, the back passengers would feel better on a hot day If they could feel the cold a/c blowing on them. I’m not sure how the subject got turned in to how you don’t care about a/c when it’s hot out.

The original comment was about the rear passengers benefitting from A/C with the top off, which I find a minimal affect, when the top is off. I agree the vents should be placed on the back of the console or somewhere better than the floor. I just don't find top off use as a strong argument for placement. Maybe y'all do more stop and go traffic than I do, and that might be nice for that. I've usually got a breeze when the tops off and the motor is on.

Carry on though as I'm all for A/C and better placement of the vents. And of course, if we change the narrative and include top ON, then sure, better A/C is a must have.

Regarding the interior, I would say anyone who is underwhelmed now, prepare to be underwhelmed, it won’t change that much. All new cars are this way and once parts come down in price they’ll upgrade the interior. This reminds me of my 5th gen Camaro, all plastic. My 6th gen though? Much, much, nicer.

I think people dissecting pictures and proclaiming "OMG, NOT BUYING NOW" is a bit premature. The production versions of these vehicles WILL be different. However, I don't think there's anything wrong with looking at pictures and listing things you might be concerned about to look out for in the final version.

For me, the interior is my primary point of concern. And no, that has nothing to do with luxury, its all about functionality. I don't care if its plastic, but I do care if its cheap plastic that looks easily breakable. I don't need luxury but I do need level load floors, hard plastics that take abuse and can resist the elements, and seats that can take punishment.

I got here a little early and got a chance to snag a few pictures of the Bronco Two-Door Trail Rig Concept before they put it in the booth, but it does look like it will be roped off most of the time.

I snagged a video of them moving it as well. The noise before he starts moving is the removal of the electronic parking brake.

I'll check this thread for requests to get pictures of something specific. It is tough to see into the back right now, so I will see if they are willing to open the back up for some better interior pictures there.

I live in upstate NY so cold is more of a problem for me then heat. I drive with the top off and the heater on often in spring and Fall

What part of "white and gray cloth interior" didn't you understand? What part of "We'll see how much different the production versions are" in my post couldn't you decode? From everything I've heard/seen, the materials are the only major thing Ford was asking to overlook in these pre-production vehicles. I'm not talking about materials. I'm talking about layout, etc. Again... we'll see how much different the production versions are.

People will get the trim and the “luxury “
features they want and no one can talk anyone out of it.

I am merely stating that the disappointment voiced by some regarding the lack of a posh and luxurious interior was perhaps due to the fact that they are looking for it in the wrong SUV.

Bronco is not a luxury SUV and clearly nor is it trying to be. You can certainly equip your trim any which way you wish but you cannot turn this extraordinarily capable off-road machine into a soft, cushy, luxurious SUV.?
