This is my thread on my 2 door Heritage build. As a 22 year old many years ago I had a 66 and then a 74 bronco. So when they announced the new Bronco I new I needed to reproduce an old classic. I started with a base 2 door automatic, In velocity blue. So far I have added a rough country 2” level kit. 1.something in the 2.something in the rear. And had custom built Wheelsmith wheels made. They are 17x8 steel smoothies, with 30mm offset. Interceptor caps with custom designed vinyl graphics. And modified old school fender badge with the “sport” removed. My next step will be the top painted in matching off white to the wheels. Should be done with that in a couple weeks.

Great build….do you have any side by side of the 2” lift before and after?
Once the prices get tolerable I’d love to wrap a MIC hard top in white for mine. Looks great!

Sorry I do not. That one photo is all I have of it in true base form. When I picked it up from the dealer it had the lift and tires on it

Ok my next step in this build is going to be the white top. For those of you who are worried about the look of the white top, like I was. Try this…. I used printer paper and taped up a mock-up on the side and back of one side, to get an idea of how it will look. I have seen a few white tops in photos and wasn’t sure if I liked it. But when you see it in person, it looks so much better. So now it is off to the painter on February 2nd. 😁

Would you mind telling me about how much it cost to paint your hard top? Thank you.

It was very little because my good friend that owns a body shop did it for me. But I have been told it would be about 2500 to 3000.

AARDVARK122, I see you now have the Falken 255/80R17 tires installed? Looks great BTW. I have this size mounted to Big Bend wheels for my soon to be here Black Diamond. I also have the 2" ReadyLIFT lift & level coil spacers ready to install.

Do you know the difference in offset between your 17×8 Wheelsmith wheels and the 17×7.5 Ford OEM wheels? I believe I may need BORA spacers to get the same appearance as your wheel set up.

Factory wheels are 55mm offset. Mine are 30mm offset. So basically 1 inch difference

I'm ready for phase 3 of my Heritage transition and have been debating between a wrapped top, or (more likely) either painted or coated (like Rhino/LineX). How is the painted top holding up for you one year later? Any chips or flakes or other issues?

Where in UT are you? I have a great wrap guy, all of my retro design is custom wrap. He did an awesome job, it's been on for 4 months & no issues.

I live in Springville. I have had mine for over a year now. I have heard from friends that they have seen others that look like mine in Utah and thought it was me. But I have never seen any yet. Where are you at?

I'm in St George. I've only seen 2 other 2drs here 1 CG & 1EG, but I don't see them regularly, they could have been visitors.
