In production since 4/19, no updates. Bronco purgatory is making me crazy. I see some people have gotten rail car info. Where do I find that info ?

Arrived 5/5 and no call yet. Hold on to your butts regarding the 5 days. I'm only 30 mins away from Granger so that probably makes the wait feel worse.

Don't like this...
Just to verify, you're saying you've been showing Final Prep since 5/5 with no contact from Granger yet?

Correct. I emailed them after a week just to get confirmation the vehicle arrived and they responded and confirmed they had the vehicle. But I have not received a call from finance to arrange pick up yet.

Same - Final prep was 5/11 and I'm a week away from getting on a flight up there so I need that call. I know they're swamped and I'm sure everyone prefers to pick up in the days adjoining memorial day weekend.

I saw Samantha has a Honeymoon Fund at their tie the knot link. I’ll be putting some cash into that fund for her and her soon to be husband.
What a great idea
Your right @Montana Bronco,

Her wedding is in five days. I did some internet searching and found their wedding registry site:

https://www.theknot.com/us/samantha-taylor-and-cole-lafollette-may-2023/registry

I'm kinda the worst at bothering the Granger team for updates, so I'm gonna send something. If anybody else feels so inclined, feel free!

This in no way was solicited or requested from anyone at Granger. I just feel like it's the right thing to do. Especially after she told me that she was going to be off work for a week soon due to a previously scheduled "event" but would still be checking emails and passing updates.

She still plans on helping during her wedding... Classic Granger Gang...
What a great idea and thanks for the research! Just sent $ to the Honeymoon Fund

Got at F150 Tremor from them last October since my DD was dying. Granger provides a transit tag. Once you have the title (?) you can register at DMV. At that point you your local state and county taxes.

Heads up if you are in CA: you will need to weigh your vehicle and do a smog check. Generally, these are both done/provided by your dealership directly to the DMV. Both are needed before the DMV does the inspection that is mostly CARB based. From what the DMV person said, despite most vehicles being 50 state compliant, that is not always the case. Also, be prepared to pay with a check, otherwise the credit card fees are tacked on to the taxes.

As a side note, I had surprisingly nice interactions with the DMV. Due to the different steps required, I had to go in/out of the DMV 3 times in the same day. Despite that, doing the weigh station, and getting a smog check done, the whole process was only 4 hours. This time I will get the weight cert and smog done before I go in and should be done in a straight shot.
Thanks for this info. Did you drive back or have it shipped? If you drove (and you don't mind me asking) how long did it take you?

I drove back.

Flew in Thursday, picked up
Spent the night in Lincoln, NE
Drove to Salt Lake, spent the night
Drove to Sacramento for my kids event (Dead tired)

If I were to do a solo drive again, I would try to get to Kearney, NE on the first day. Lincoln to Salt Lake was a looong day.

FINALLY!

Day one reservation, and at last the time has come.

Delivered on 5/4/2023, and on 5/10 Granger contacted me to let me know it had arrived, and was ready to get the financial information going.

It was a very easy process, Samantha and Shelby were very easy to work with.

I drove from Dallas with my Mother, picked up my aunt in Waggoner Oklahoma, and headed north to Iowa.

it rained 75% of the time, not fun

We stayed overnight Sunday, in Grimes Iowa, which is only 10 minutes from Granger. The place we stayed at was called American Inn. It was okay, and they provided breakfast.

We arrived at Granger around 8:50am. They open at 9, but they accommodated us. I only had to sign one paper, and then they had a wait for the Bronco to get cleaned up.

I would definitely chose Granger again. They were very easy to work with, and my price was a lot lower than I anticipated

That's a hike. I'm doing Granger, IA to Little Rock, AR via Kansas City on day 1 then home to Houston after Memorial Day.

Looks like my Eruption Green is at the end of the line in that final shot!
