I assume the shocks must be entirely removed? Collars/spacers are FMI 2 piece (which shouldn't matter). How long should this install take a good/certified mechanic with a lift? Of course assuming a good spring compressor is on hand. TIA.

yep 2-3 hours is a good estimate

takes me about 3hours to do a full spring swap but I have done it a few times now.

I did 1" foutz perch collars on all four corners. I did not remove shocks. Probably spent half hour on each corner.

Thanks. Surprising. Wasn't it hard to get a good spring compressor to fit in there and get enough compression?

Details... Rear looks plenty accessible. Front looks much more challenging to get spring compressors in.

They were both pretty easy honestly with the rears certainly being a little easier as the perch collar goes on top. I did it in my driveway with cheap advance auto rental spring compressors. I think if you were trying to compressor enough to get a much bigger perch collar on you might struggle some but the 1" went right on for me on all four corners.

I don't know how to multi quote. Lol please see above. It's relatively tight so actually the cheap thin compressors work best. I went into the project expecting to remove the shocks but was happy to get it done without having to.

We got the RPG 1.5 front and 2.25 i think rear collars in today. So you think there's enough space to get the 2.25 in vs the 1 inch?
