Never tried WAZE. I’ll check it out.
I like it much better. There are a LOT of settings, so don't get peeved too soon. I turned off Nearby Wazers (like a need a fake non-community, lol), you can set distances from alerts for traffic, accidents, cops, etc. And set speed warnings. Very important in strange places!

Android Auto with your pick of apps they are way more up to date maps and contain traffic and police.

And its a pain in the but for me to get sync to input the address I want verbally

Oh yeah, it'll definitely affect your on-vehicle services. Memory seats will stop working. UFO detection and evasion will stop working. Cloaking will cease (your wife will definitely see you chowing down on that triple cheese burger in the Jack in the Box parking lot). Most importantly, you will no longer be able to avoid those infernal Bronco wavers on roads around town.

You should carefully consider these niceties and must-haves before you end service. Your life and sleeping in your own bed may depend on it. 👋 😬

And for red light cameras! That's why I started using it. Around Chicago, the politicos discovered a new way to stuff cash into their pockets with these insidious things that don't keep folks from actually running lights, but grab $100 every time you roll over the sensors under red.....

No, don't pay them a dime for the stupid subscription. What an absolute rip-off, shame on Ford for trying to suck every last penny out of us. Pay for an update if you want it sure, but to pay annually no way.

Next thing you know they will be asking for money to keep your heated seats working, windshield wipers, mo money, headlights, pay up sucker!

I used it until they partnered with the Govts in Canada, and where I am, for survelance and reporting purposes likely selling data to ins cos.. Deleted it and never went back.

Used it mostly for high speed highway trips in Mustang as third level counter measures...saved me a few times thanks to fellow active waze users!!

Dont even need Uniden R4 in Bronco wind noise is so loud over 70 so dont speed much on hwy.

After I took delivery of my Bronco I compared my Garmin, Ford Navigation and Apple Maps. Ford Navigation and Apple Maps had their pluses and minuses but Apple Maps is free. I gave my Garmin away.

I re-upped on the Nav because we had to rely on it a few times to find gas stations and other destinations on long road trips when we lost cell signal on our phones and Google Maps wasn’t searchable. We’ll keep it active as backup nav.
I'm thinking the same thing. I usually use waze, but would be nice to have a backup, and also something i can set waypoints with.

What app is that? Sounds useful.
I don't remember the name because it's been years since I've used it. Our last use was in Phoenix and we had it set for three cameras ahead of us. We dived off to an off ramp due to an immediate back up.

Waze, 100%. For those of us in states where radar detectors are illegal, the choice is obvious.

What is Waze doing with Police/radar that Google isn’t? When I’m on a Google Maps route, I see the speed limit displayed on the map plus my own speed which will appear red if I’m over. I get “police ahead” , object on road, traffic slowdown ahead, and all kinds of advance warnings and it will ask me to confirm “Police still there?”. You can report any of these things yourself. Is this stuff better on Waze?

I might have to turn off the school zone chime . After the last update school zones elicit a chime. But I can’t access the screen because the nav expired years ago.
