I was wondering if anyone has any input or has tried tapping into the front speakers and run speaker wire to the rear pods improve the sound? It sounds like it could be a few hours of labor but it might be worth looking into since people have been tapping into the front speakers for their subs. I'm just not an audio engineer that understands it so well.

@1Five1 Garage

look up YouTube for above named channel they did a speaker change out and included the diagram to th speakers.. looks like the front top speakers are driven after the floor speaker.. just get a new set of speakers that aren’t paper and call it good. See there video for reference… might be a cheaper less time consuming option

Here you go for the video. It is at the end. I am not sure if it will make it better because you will lose the fade option from front to rear.
Has anyone pulled the head unit out for the possibility of a sub specific out put to hook am a amp for the sub?

2021 BRONCO GETS NEW SPEAKERS. WHAT A DIFFERENCE.

I wouldn't do that...you'll further drop the impedance of the audio output and possibly wreck your HU.
This was the info I was looking for. Thanks everyone

It's likely the front channel output is 6ohms already, seeing as the fronts are paired up. If you wanna disconnect the 6.5's, and connect the rears that would be fine....
But pointless lol

Yeah agreed. I just was wondering if splicing into the fronts would help with the sound.

So for all those threads about taping into the kick panel to power an amp...does the amp not also lower the impedance?

Well, if you wanna rerun wire to all 4 corners of your truck...
And lose fade... and balance if you don't do it right
I never recommend anything. Just showing there are ways of doing audio speakers without ruining your amp.
Simple concept.
Personally I couldn’t care less that the Bronco’s stereo sucks.

Wait..so you are saying that if we ran the - wire from the kicker to the + wire of the rear pod...the rears could have full signal, not damage the Head Unit and all we would lose is rear fade?

If that is the case...done and done!
