Clearly they have a right to own their content and ask for its takedown, which is exactly what they did and the reason behind the removal of content.

You're missing the point, however. It's not IF they can enforce it but SHOULD they and to what end? It's a dumb marketing move plain and simple and runs counter to their kumbaya message of wanting to unite all Bronco enthusiasts. It's not like their very prominent watermarks were removed. Any publicity is good publicity.

Not enforcing your trademark and content, in America, is the same as not owning your trademark or content.

Case law has been fairly consistent with this. If they own the content then they absolutely should send a cease and desist.

Interesting that their member ticker number went from 1000 something the other day to now says "1000025". Is someone padding their member #'s? I doubt they had 98000 people sign up for the "digital membership".

Well, yeah, their forum is horrible, hard to navigate and keep up with....and their 'news' always seems a bit older than actual news elsewhere...and reports of their arrogance and separatism from time to time, which I've taken with a grain of salt, has now been confirmed.
