Can somebody answer a stupid question? What could you possibly need 6 auxiliary switches for?
In case 5 get recalled...?

No momentary option through settings?
We don't know for sure, but I don't believe the Raptor or SuperDuty have a momentary option. (Though some Jeeps do, so maybe Ford decided to bring this to the Bronco?)

We're still waiting for confirmation on some the details with these switches. The Raptor has 6 switches that range from 5A to 15A. The SD has 6 switches that range all the way up to 40A, and the 2 40A switches can be toggled in the fuse box to run off battery only, not just ignition.

I think most of us are expecting the Bronco's switches to mirror the Raptor more than the SD, but we don't know for sure.

Just dawned on me regarding one of my switches in my jeep.

My rock lights switch also plays Metallica.

to the engine bay
I'm wondering if the wiring is completed at the factory? On my 2010 Raptor the Aux switches were not connected to the terminals in the engine bay and I had the privilege of finishing the circuts myself.

~$2 worth of wire/solder/connectors... really Ford???

On the current Raptors, the switches are fused and the wires are bundled in the engine bay near the battery. There is a second set of matching passthrough wires that aren't connected to anything but simply run from the driver footwell to the engine bay through the firewall.
(I've seen more than a couple of videos where people mistakenly used the wrong bundle and couldn't figure out why their switches weren't doing anything or getting power.)

As long as I don’t have to fish them through into the engine bay myself...I’m ecstatic.
As to why 6...it looks good up there, and better too many than too few. I think I had 4 auxiliaries on my last build...which wasn’t a crazy build, so they get used up very quickly. Great call to give us plenty. Winch, fogs, front lightbar and rear light already takes up 4 switches. An extra horn makes 5...a compressor Wired in, and you’ll be cursing Ford for only putting in 6.

How many radio station presets do you really need?
FFS, what is the deal with radio station presets? Even in newer Fords, scrolling through my Media screen and there's two preset banks of six for AM, three FM, three XM... Who the hell is presetting more than 12 FM stations?

I tried listening to FM in a rental one morning, too lazy to set up Bluetooth. Holy shit, every station was either talk or ads. My wife complains that we always listen to my music in the car but every station is constantly playing ads.

I wish I could disable AM/FM/XM completely in my radio. I hate how disconnecting Android Auto will default to AM instead of my thumbdrive. I wouldn't mind having one aux switch just to immediately switch back to USB without any extra button presses.

How many cup holder do you really need?

How many seat adjustments do you really need?

How many radio station presets do you really need?
I would like to discuss the cup holder issue. My truck is essentially one huge drink holder. They seem to multiply every time I get inside.
