My family CFO (wife) has run the numbers and we will be able to afford to take delivery of our no compromise Bronco late 2022 / early 2023!

It will be a 4 door non squatched Badlands with the 2.7, MIC top and high package.

How should I proceed?

Can I place a reservation but delay the actual order?

I know it seems a little crazy to be planning 2 years out like this, but with demand being so high and some deliveries likely creeping into
2022, I'm concerned that if I don't take any action my family won't have our Bronco until well into 2023.

Is anybody else in the same boat as me and what is your plan?

I also want to add that I am beyond ecstatic about the opportunity to order a BRAND NEW BRONCO! We will be driving ours straight to Colorado/Utah from NC to spend time in that beautiful part of our country. After that we are planning on driving the Bronco all the way to Alaska and back.

It's going to be a very long 2 years to wait for this vehicle, but it will be SO worth it.

That's so far in the future you will most likely change you mind. Most people do. Your best bet is waiting until the end of 2022 and finding one during their year old close out. Or if you can find a 2022 in 2023. It will save you some coin.

They should be on dealer lots by the end of 2022. I’d wait until then.

I assure you I won't be changing my mind. A Bronco was my first vehicle when I was 15 and I've been waiting for a new one since the rumors started years ago. I could swing getting a base model right now but do not want to compromise. I also seriously doubt that there will be any year old close outs for the Bronco.

Yes, you can place the reservation. When your dealer coverts it to an order, he schedules it as a 99 waiting for MY'22. I did the exact same thing, completed in a matter of an hour or so. Depends on the dealer. I used Chapman Horsham. He's 3% under invoice, very up on things, no bs . When the order gets moved from a 99 later this year, you can add or change anything depending on new options for '22. The risk if you wait is that as more people see the Bronco and want one, you may have to wait even longer. A lot have no idea it is coming.

That's what I'm hoping for. I'm guessing that a V6 Badlands with the high package will be pretty common on the dealer lots, but they will likely have a bunch of other things added to them that I do not care for. This is why I am leaning towards ordering one with the exact configuration I want.

Wait until 8 weeks before you want it and order one through a reputable dealer.

I do not want a used one. I understand the depreciation once you leave the dealer and all of that but I want the satisfaction of taking delivery of a brand new Bronco.

Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.

Whenever someone asks me how to proceed, I usually say...

Proceed with caution, as haste makes waste, and never forget, fools rush in where angels fear to tread; however, the early bird gets the worm and fortune favors the bold. Don't give up, but don't run a race you cannot win. Hope that helps indeedy.

If you are wanting to get exactly what you want. I’d place an order for one when the order banks open for MY22 (this summer). That will put you close to your desired time (maybe later). Just be sure to get that lined up early with your dealership. Ford projects current reservations to be finished up by summer 2022. So, you have a chance to time it right.

I'm sorry... you can tell the future? Please give someone on here tonight's winning lotto numbers.

Ford is already allowing up to 14,000 MY21 Broncos to be sold without a reservation.

Where are you seeing that? Goes against everything they have been saying and would piss off a lot of people with reservations that don't get their '21.
