Would you rather them rush an pump out Broncos left and right and have all sorts of issues? Because I've been told by folks with sources and folks at the plant that they could have pushed through a lot faster to maintain the timeline at the risk of quality, but are instead taking extra precautions to focus on quality.

As painful as waiting is, I'd rather not end up with a Bronco that spends a lot of time in the service area of my dealership.

What shade of "grey/black" are the fender flares and mirrors?

Are they MIC grey, are they Mod Black or are they something between and the argument is simply what looks best or closest?

I'm still trying to wrap my head around why Ford wouldn't make them all a single color, or offer the option (apparently in 2025 or whenever they get their shit together) for single color grey or single color black?

It means the plastic pellets used to mold the part are all the desired color. The plastic is not painted.

In this case the colors selected is "Carbonized Gray"

I had three wranglers with hard tops, and I vaguely remember right behind the front doors would chip and be white on black. I was never too concerned but also would leave the top outside on wood planks sometimes bending all the way to the ground.

now they have garage hoists and stuff.

with the top two removable panels, I’m curious how many times the entire top will come off on a lot of buyers tops.

certainly no expert here but the top doesn’t come off the sport. So this entire design didn’t have to happen there.

So when Jeep launched the JT, a lot of FEs ended up on dealer lots because reservation holders were able to get a hold of Rubicons earlier. This is probably because Jeep did simultaneous dealer inventory and customer order production at the same time.

I think Ford has now backed themselves (or been backed) into a corner where FE has questionable value, it won’t be first off the line due to commodity constraints, and it won’t have the luxury top, etc.
