Did you watch this video?:The aux wiring looked super accessible (from what I could see) when I saw the Bronco at my dealer a few weeks back. Will be very interested to see if they have anything pre-wired into the cab or rear for those other accessories. Upgrading things myself has always led to a greater appreciation of the finished product (and cheaper bill!) but electrical is an understandable line to not want to cross.
I had not seen that one, thanks to you and @ZackDanger for the info!Did you watch this video?:
so, The Hitch and these 2 parts and were good to go???I made a post in another thread on this.
There are 2 more parts you need to add the 7-pin that aren't in the catalog yet (adds another $100ish).
If you also want to add the 7-pin connector, you need 2 additional parts (on top of the 4-pin harness and tow hitch itself):
KB3Z-15K868-D 7-pin wiring harness - Replaces Park aid harness
to add the 7-wire towing harness connector.
FU5Z-14489-A Bumper mount to hold both 4-pin and 7-pin connectors).
4-pin moves from the hitch assy. to the bumper to be
in the same spot.
bothIs the rear under floor vault available for both 2 dr and 4 dr or just the 4 dr?
Yep, rocker covers, vinyl mats will eat them up. I'm also thinking of an extra cross bar on the roof rack for my kayak. I might do rock rails rather than rocker covers, especially if there is a 6g member close by that wants to get rid of their factory rails. I'll look at my points as a 50% discount on my first order of accessories.Rocker covers, vinyl mats, brake controller all caught my eye as something to use my points on.
WOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!! A40% markup over "Suggested Retail Price"???Thank you DirtyBronco for the post..
This probably doesn't need to be stated but please shop around for accessories. Curiosity had me thinking and had to see how much the front range will continue to screw over Colorado buyers, I did a quick compare between my local Ford dealer Phil Long in Colorado Springs and where I'm purchasing my Badlands Bronco. Nothing has changed from purchasing a new Bronco and buying accessories here in Colorado. I wish I could keep my business local but feels unlikely.
Thx

Sir I believe that all prices have installation included by the dealer. If I'm wrong let me know. I am definitely getting both, especially if the latter is true.Interesting, this seems to answer some questions that people have had about the trailer hitch assembly being only 350 compared to nearly 600 for the factory install. The assembly does not come with the wiring harness. That is a separate 110 dollar charge. So 460 total for parts with a little bit of upcharge to having it installed at the factory.......that actually seems about right. Glad I opted out at this point to prevent any potential delays. I will put one on later when I need it.
