I ways assumed FE was mostly just a LIMITED EDITION more than anything else.
I do not recall ever reading anything remotely official that they would receive a build priority.
Forcing them to all be 2021s makes sense though.

Appreciate the info but as an FE reservation holder, I don’t like it a bit.

I know FE doesn’t mean first built, but I really thought having a reservation time stamp within 6 minutes of reservations opening would get me in the earliest build group.

Oh well, let’s hope I’ll make round 2!

I'm a 4 door Big Bend, 2.3L Auto, Mid Package, Signature Lighting, MIC Hard Top, Cactus Gray exterior, Black Onyx and Dark Space Gray interior.

For those who haven't seen, Ford is planning on running their scheduling cadence as follows:

1st Week of Scheduling - First Edition Scheduling
2nd Week of Scheduling - Non First Edition Scheduling
Remaining Weeks - Clean up of Non FE Scheduling (schedules those that didn't get a schedule date in week 2)

This cadence will repeat on a monthly basis. Last week (April 11th-17th) was the run of First Editions. We had allocation for 1 (we have over 50 reservations for FE) and it was our first timestamp that was scheduled. This week we have 25 Non-FEs that are Previewing for scheduling. They started to preview this morning, but this should give you a good sample size of what is/will schedule and where the restrictions are for the first month. This can/will change on a monthly basis. This is just what is scheduling for the first run. It should give you a good idea on bottlenecks.

We are seeing the effect of commodity constraints in normal production scheduling. I bet a large number of the Priority orders had SAS plus all the FE’s scheduled consumed SAS commodity availability and they are scheduling around that until they can establish a more balanced mix.

Ya'll bagging on FE buyers whom are disappointed must be forgetting that we have to wait for 3 more scheduling periods before it's our turn. Folks well beyond first 30 min orders will be scheduled during those weeks. It's a timestamp thing, not an FE thing. If I remember correctly, most of you were also disappointed when you didn't get scheduled because you had an "early timestamp".

So about 12% of your allocation and a high number of Badlands. (does math for my dealer in head) I could be in the mix of previews pulled this week....

How does this work though? They previewed 25 last week, and one was scheduled - will more from that preview get scheduled this week or not until week 3?
