First wild sighting: Painted Black Mod Top on 2021 Bronco

Not a fan of the painted top; glad I've always had a MIC top on order.

However, with all these comments on here not liking the painted hard top, everyone's going to switch to a MIC or soft top... Here comes another/longer constraint... Everyone hold on!

Have you seen a 4 door in person yet? Specifically a squatched one? I started to see the flex comparisons via photos until I saw this beast in person

yes several times. and from the side looks like a FLEX lifted with bigger tires. Just my opinion. a Beast Flex is what I saw

And just like that I'm glad I got the MIC top now. Not that black looks bad but it looks to be gloss black with very little to no flake. It's going to be a scratch and chip magnet.

Spotted in the wild (scroll down to see it). This is the one and only 4 door painted mod top we‘ve seen. The only other painted mod top seen was on the 2 door shadow black Badlands from last year, first seen at Super Cel West.

The best part of this top is: it will be a good base to get painted. I don't want black but I do want white, so this is the top I'll get and take to the paint shop (unless the elusive pick-your-own-color top becomes reality). Of course right now, even the Bronco itself is elusive.

I like the look of the MIC over painted. I prefer the painted because you can remove the side windows. I'm hoping the aftermarket will produce some cool sliders for the painted top. Thankfully I still have time to change my mind if I want.

I have to agree. I've wanted a white top for a while, but have come to think the look of the MIC is acceptable. That being said I do want the gunner hatch and removable windows that the MOD has. If they offered those on the MIC I'd be happy.

I don’t even hate on the BB, just don’t understand why they would put it on a model that isn’t very popular. If you only have a few they should all go on FE or WT imho.
