My best guess would be +6ish seconds. The bronco weights 5K lbs., as does the explorer. My explorer is ~365hp and rated at 5.6 sec. The bronco is 330hp max in stock trim. Plus so many gear ratios and tire sizes.

I don't think the fastest factory configuration would ever break 6 sec.

I absolutely care about 0-60... not the number but getting there (and beyond). Doesn't matter if it's a car, truck or SUV. Last I saw, the Bronco is street legal, it's not an off road vehicle. It's capable, but not strictly off road.

And if you don't care, well, stay the hell out of the left lane!! Those people piss me off šŸ¤¬
Ohioans LIVE in the left laneā€¦ prove me wrong.

I bet a BD with the 2.7 and small tires would be the quickest because of the gearing.... Top end, not so much.

Crap, I may have to reconsider getting a Bronco. I didn't realize it was only meant for rock crawling and not merging or accelerating onto the highway from a traffic light. This changes everything. Guess its back to considering a Prius or Venza ... or Outback of course.

Edit: or I see Subaru has a new EV coming, maybe it tows more šŸ¤”

I think you'll be surprised. It may hit mid-to-high 5s with the low gearing and all that torque. At least it should with the MPG numbers that came out. Lol

Subaru had more ground clearance as well.

Maybe, but the lower gearing usually comes with larger tires.

Don't get me wrong 6 sec is a fast car, it would put any 80's sport car to shame.

Why? It's an offroad vehicle. If you care about the 0-60, you maybe should be looking at a different vehicle.
Manā€¦.canā€™t have fun conversations anymore. People on here just hating to hate. I would rather read this thread and enjoy good logical conversation that is fun and doesnā€™t really matter than read about delays.
