7/14 res, 1/25 order date and still no email. Am I screwed ? 2dr lux wildtrak. MIC and no towing.

They are going to do this the first weeks of every month for the next 4 months! Don't panic, there will be another 30k scheduled for MY21. I'm a day 2 and feeling a lot better right now believe it or not.

Yeah, I live in Dallas and I'm sure they have a pretty decent number allocated. But I've asked 5-6 times and either they won't know or won't tell me. All they've said is that "You were one of our first reservations."

My dealership told me I was number 24 on their reservation list, but I don't know where I am on their converted allocation list, how many FEs they had, etc.

I was honestly surprised with all the talk of the "deadly sins" mine has like all of them. 2.7, SAS, Tow, Lux, Leather. Maybe the super early reservation helped? #1 at my dealer? Idk I'm just excited!

Those of you with new dates- if you hit the “track order” at bottom of email is your production schedule showing up on Ford’s website?

No. Its not a guarantee, just a schedule, IMO.

I got excited and didn't post deets:

- 7/14 AM reservation
- Ordered January, Modified in March
- 7/26 build week
- Small dealership, maybe 10-15 in allocation
-My best guess is I was in the top 5 for time stamps

As an early res, I held out and didn't change my order to see what happened this week. I was very tempted to remove the tow but no chance I was removing the MIC. I got the build email this morning with a 7/19 build date with everything I ordered originally. Super excited!

I emailed my dealer, he is not responsive other than when he wanted my deposit. I never got my order priority or if I was previewing. I just think he is a guy that lost his job at Staples and now sells cars. He never tried to upsell me which is also something you'd expect from a salesperson. Just over-communicate Ford...

Holy crap it actually happened! July 19th build week. Email came at 8:11 a.m. Central this morning. August 18 reservation. Badlands 2.3L, upgraded NonSas wheels and tires, Lux, soft-top, no tow-package.

I seriously can't believe it, thought I might be looking at next year.

I get it, it's probably a hold up on my build too, but it's clearly not as simple as you were trying to lay out.

*edit* I agree, you're not wrong, and I'm just annoyed right now is all.

And yet, it really is that simple. it's not like it includes a brake controller or trans cooler or anything like that. it's like 6 extra wires and a slab of welded metal.

Waiting for Ford to announce that they're constrained on steering wheels, and that if we just contact our dealer and remove the constrained parts, we'll get our trucks sooner.

That's the best part, lol

it's the tow kit on a vehicle that (by every similar vehicle comparison) can't tow *anything*! Hell, i'm only getting it to be able to put a hitch-mount bike rack on mine.


The wife's subaru ascent has more tow capacity than the bronco.

I don't think the tow package actually is a constraint. Just look at all the people posting their builds, most (include myself) have the MIC and tow package.
