Start timer seems accurate. there is 1 sec hesitation by Bronco after accel pedal is fully pressed. I hate those type of cars.

This is the dumbest thread I’ve seen yet. A forum of Sasquatch (heavy tires, bash plates, rock rails, high center of gravity) enthusiasts losing their minds over a 0-60 video by a guy on the internet who can’t start a timer correctly.

Good thing I also own a GT500. I was expecting a 0-60 in the low 6s.

Also why doesn’t the first edition have a sport mode? Was there only room for only so many modes? Just curious if anyone knows the real reason.

If you want acceleration, get an EV

Looks like nothing registered on speedometer until ~1.5 sec went by. So subtract at least 1 sec right? Plus it was wet out … not normal conditions for 0-60 test … and I doubt the tester did hard revved launch like they typically do for these tests.

Sounded like that thing was shifting super early. Is the red line really that low? Figured a small v6 would rev out a little better. I know it's a 4x4 SUV but that's some pathetic acceleration for anything produced today. Pretty sure my JK would leave this boat anchor in the dust. At least the Bronco looks good doing it! :D

But seriously, how am I supposed to impress the moms at the mall parking lot with this level of performance? Can it at least do a burnout to make the kids in the cul-de-sac think I'm cool?

After watching the video a few times I have no doubts that the dragy results will be quicker than what the timer showed. At least we are seeing content now from owners.

Isn't this the same Bronco owner that also owns a performance shop? Good marketing to show a sluggish 0-60 time on a Brand New Bronco, then come back with a tune and a real 0-60 time to make it look so much better. My 2015 supercrew 4x4 with 34's and a 2.7 ran a lot quicker than that...I'm sure the stock 2.7 will run just as good as, if not better than an f150 with 34's.
If this is true the owner has a tuning shop lol. Total garbage.

Yes, this is the same shop owner guy that won’t answer any questions about how he got his FE so quickly.

I think a Base Bronco with the 2.7L, and no accessories, will hit a 0-60 in 5.9 seconds (without any tune). That’s how I got to my conclusion.
I'm willing to get that mark and better. Now, if only Ford will get my base 4dr v6 in my hands.
