Wow, that is more than just rolling into something type of damage. They would have had to hit something fairly fast and hard. Being that you are a WT that rules out experience with a manual transmission. Hope they can get it fixed soon for you.
about 4-5yrs ago or so my buddies dad bought a new diesel 2500 chevy or gmc pickup. First one got wrecked loading on the train and was totaled, second one fell off the line or something, 3rd one got delayed and he ended up getting the next year model truck because it took so long.
F-I-L owns a large Snap-On franchise and I see/hear stories of shipping BS all the time. Like 15-20k tool boxes haveing fork lift fork holes thru them.
There was a full big rig of used cars that burned up in NY last week, tractor caught fire and took down the whole trailer's worth. An X3 aboard was on its way to one of my customers...... It's literally a warped shell.
My sincerest condolences . Also, this is concerning that hitting something in the bash plate/bumper area damaged whats underneath. Whats gonna happen on the trail when someone slips a small ledge and lands on a rock?
