Having a great time in Buena Vista.

I guess I didn't realize it was so close to Leadville. My son is going to Colorado Mountain College in Leadville. Beautiful country up there.I worked in Buena Vista for 15 years and lived in Leadville. I miss that area!
38 miles, 2 stop signs, 1 stop lightI guess I didn't realize it was so close to Leadville. My son is going to Colorado Mountain College in Leadville. Beautiful country up there.
I went today and actually snuck in two ride-alongs! The first was in a basic outer banks with no add-ons. It was a fun ride and I was impressed but really came to see the off-road features. I luckily fell into a wait list spot for the next hour and rode a fully loaded badlands with the top off. It was amazing and left me drooling again as I wait for mine to show up. The trail control feature is sexy! Soooo smooth over big rocks and dips. Sway bar disconnect impresses as well while it works under load. It’s about a 50min drive, with about 5 highway mins and the rest on gravel roads and trail loop.Did you do a ride along?! Mine is tomorrow afternoon and I'm wondering how much off roading you get in
Yep, they have several two doors and several four doors. The Maxslider group is there as well with their builds. Bestop has a tent with their new soft top on display.Any (2021) 2Doors on display?
Hahaha yeah lol. I was talking to someone beside me.
Iconic silver 4 dr OBX w cloth navy pier is my build, also vety interested in a fastback bestop. Are there any pics of the one you saw?I made it out there today too. Got an hour-long ride-along with Baja 1000 champ Mark Stahl in a stock Big Bend, and another hour drive-along following Bronco driving specialist Jessica in a Badlands Sport, all in the Fourmile Area of Buena Vista. The reason I recommend the drive is this is a chance to take the Sport on roads your dealership probably would not allow in a regular test drive, including a minor stream crossing. Lots of fun!
The Bestop people had an Iconic Silver Outer Banks with the cloth navy and gray interior, so if that's your pick, you can get a good look at it, including the silver and blue dash. I'm hoping they don't change it for MY22 - looks sharp.
Finally got to see some other colors on the Bronco, too. They had the Eruption Green on a jerry can, but not the pepper red (or whatever that is). Some 2-doors and 4-doors, stock and Sasquatch.
Schwag included carabiners and some books - bonus from Mark for me and my friend Stewart:
I'll have to ping my buddy. He took a ton of photos - I took none. Will let you know what I hear back...Iconic silver 4 dr OBX w cloth navy pier is my build, also vety interested in a fastback bestop. Are there any pics of the one you saw?
