Nice, no way you can do that with the 4 door though. Between the balance and weight I needed my wife and 15 year old.
Can you please explain? The rear clamshell on the 2-dr and 4-dr are nearly the same. After removing the middle panel on the 4-dr, the dimensions for the rear should be similar to that of the 2-dr.

Is this the 2.0 top? Mine does not have the two bolts over the driver and passenger seats.
Yes, 2.0. I wonder if they will add the bracket when they send out the new top?

Nicely done Steph! Had a few laughs as well, I now know why they call it a clamshell. Does this make you a pearl 🤣?

Also, I too used to play the sport your boy was playing in my youth. Soccer-Hockey. Great taste!

Keep the videos coming, they're great!!
Thanks! Is there different kind of pearls? I might be like a rotten pearl... or like a low quality deformed one lol.

Woohoo! I made a post asking if this was possible a few weeks ago cause i currently do this with my 4 door Wrangler. Happy to know it’s possible when i get my 2 door in 29 years! Thanks for this post!
i replaced my screws in back with hand screws like the ones below for quicker removal which is a big help.
I like your optims for your delivery timeline haha

Liked the video. I plan on doing something like this video shows when my 4D comes. Most importantly, it's cheap and easy!

My wife is partially disabled, so she won't be able to help me, and with a bad shoulder, I won't be able to do what you did.

EDIT: Strangely, my post disappeared while I was editing it. 🤷

I might make another video with power tools
Watch on the install- shell bolts are 15 ft/ lb torque.

Also, @Northshore bronco has it right to inch the Top back before lifting. The Shell mounting flanges tapers in ( marked in red ).
At this point it nearly the same width as the painted roll bar.

This weekend I took my top off all by myself for the first time. If you're still waiting for you bronco and wondering how hard/easy it is. I made a video doing it.

Isn't the clamshell for the 4 door smaller than the 2?

Thanks for the vid. I think I could handle doing the 4d top myself, it can't be that much heavier.

Also, as I saw your kid play soccer with his hockey stick in the background. I thought to myself, we will never be better than you Canucks in Hockey. LOL

I tried they didn't give me answer maybe you will have more luck with them sense you have a bronco.
Here's their answer to me. Looks promising. Thanks for posting. :

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in our HardTop lift kit. We are currently in the process of testing our HardTop lifting kit on both the 2-door and 4-door versions of the new Bronco.
After testing, we will update our website and installation instructions to include the compatibility of the Bronco. Everything we are seeing so far looks like it should be compatible. Be on the look out for emails sent through our Newsletter or updates to our HardTop Lifting Kit page.

I really enjoy your videos, I'm waiting on my 21 2 door Black bronco. So I'm living vicariously through you. LOL. I was building some fence panels and had to move one across the yard. I believe I will not be trying this solo. I can see that being a catastrophic mistake on my part.

Look forward to see if you come up with a stand or harness video. Already subscribed with the notification bell!
