We need some pics to see what you’re having an issue with.

Hmmmm. Maybe that bumper is significantly different than the one without sensors. I’m not at home to look at mine, but it looks different than the one in this video.
Thank you for the reply. Will do.@Pixel R do you have an outer banks? It might be an incompatibility with the plastic rear bumper. Mine is steel with sensors it's open where the bolts hit in your picture. I have the same Curt Hitch on my black diamond.
I do think the bolts provided by curt are longer than needed. I'd either contact Curt or just go to the hardware store and buy some shorter grade 8 bolts.
Edit:. Looking at the pics again I see the issue with the hitch not fitting on the cross member. Can you get measurements of both the hitch opening and cross member? Then someone could compare to a working setup to see where the issue lies. Wonder if the cross members are different on the outer banks and not accounted for by curt
I thought about it, but another issue is, the hitch cannot go all the way.I bet bolts are good when hitch is on.
i would put floor jack under hitch and jack it up probably will go on.
Yes I do have an OBX. I have the sensor but plastic bumper which is not open. Yes the hitch is not fitting as well.@Pixel R do you have an outer banks? The hitch doesnt fit either for some reason.I'd just buy some shorter grade 8 bolts.
Looks like you've got the correct hitch but your bumper won't allow the long bolts. Buy some shorter bolts and you should be good to go.
