No issues pulling my little kayak trailer, but it drops the mpg more than I had hoped:

How much loss did you see?

I can't imagine it's a weight thing, maybe more aerodynamic?

At 75 I usually get about 16.5, with the trailer at 75 it's less than 14.

I use my F-150 for most of my boat towing. But it was nice to use the Bronco today to pick my trailer up from the shop after having some work done.

Pulled 7400 lbs today no problem or issues. Drives great.
Added the Ford trailer brakes controller and wanted to test it out.

Did about a 45 mile trip of mostly freeway driving.

This is not something I intend to do all the time, but the truck handled it awesome and if needed it will do the job.

Ok thanks on the tongue weight estimate - from the pic looks like rear suspension did not sag much and assume boat/trailer is at least 4,000 with a 10-12 % tongue weight and Bronco will do fine for short trips.

You can check wth Air Lift Corp. later on. They will have a set of air lift bags for the Bronco. They are having a hard time getting their hands on a Bronco to use. I have run their air bags for decades on my Suburban and F-150. Never had an issue. They were on my Suburban for 22 years and my F-150 for 5 yrs as of now.

Oregon County Fair is over for another year. Time to head out. Towing and hookup with the Bronco put my previous Wrangler to shame. This was a joy! I still catch bugs on the windshield.

I forgot to take a picture when the trailer was full, but did a good job full of furniture from Austin to Albuquerque. Uphill and the wind in our face most of the way, ended up at about 11 mpg.

Trailer by itself is 2600 lbs and we had a bit over 1,000 lbs of stuff loaded.

Here is a photo pulling my boat. Fyi, I was worried that I may have trouble pulling it, weighing in at just under 4500 lbs, but it does great. I've pulled it about 400 miles now and absoultely no issue.

I would have been able to add a pic of me pulling a Uhaul trailer this week. However, they won't allow me to rent a trailer because I have a soft top..... Apparently this is a thing. Checked some Wrangler forums and they won't rent to soft top Jeeps either. Ya learn something new every day....

That has been a thing for Uhaul for several decades. Welcome to soft top ownership. Kind of sucks.
