I couldn't have done it without months of research first on Bronco6g and Youtube. Your scenario was almost identical to mine and encouraged me to learn to do it myself. With all the tools I bought, I basically paid a bit more than what you were quoted for the leveling kit install. The cost of the tools and equipment definitely has paid off as more mods were done. Not going to lie, loosening the cam bolts for the lower control arms for the first time had a high pucker factor...but the skills and experience = priceless! That said, $1200 for a leveling kit is a bit much. I'd get more quotes. Good luck!I'm truly jealous of all of you that have the space, tools, and know-how to be able to DIY installs like this, I wish I had access to the proper tools and had the guts to just start taking things apart. I wanted to install a simple level kit and was quoted around $1200 from 4WP to install a $100 level kit =( so it didn't happen.
