HOSS 3.0 Suspension Kits - Now available from Ford Performance!

Not his rock crawler setup as I believe that’s now a cantilever design, but it’s his shock tower and trailing arm. The front of this build is all our own design and work, but on the long travel build we’ll be using his front suspension design and that will be a universal setup without the clearance spacer on the bottom of the coilover. He’s doing some custom stuff per my request like the bypass towers. I originally asked for 1.5” uniballs to get more misalignment ability but he took that a step farther with heims and fabricated knuckles.

ahhhh, gotcha, so your picture of the square tubing is going to end up being a shock tower that still positions the coilover "vertical" just higher up to allow for more stroke and im assuming moving the bottom mount further up the trailing arm to gain more motion ratio.

Nailed it! Coilover will now be vertical so no angle to account for in the spring rate, only motion ratio and stacked coils. We got the “builder kit” as wifey wants more welding opportunities. It didn’t cost any different than buying it assembled, though I suppose shipping might have been less. We just need to fit it and do some minor bending before welding it all together.

Yeah he did a great job. We’ve been working on it for awhile now.

Just putting it out there because it doesn't seem to be a well known fact. My '23 Hoss 3.0 WT was roughly 2" lower than my '21 Wildtrak.

Interesting. About to retrofit my 22 WT with 23 WT HOSS 3.0 take-offs and will have to measure.

Hmm for less $$ one could order the Bilstein 6100/6112’s. I understand you get a warranty but I haven’t seen a direct comparison between the two. Are these better than 6100’s?

I bought and ran the Bilstein 6112's. They were absolutely HORRIBLE! Now running Fox Factory Race 3.0's with SDI E-Clik system. MUCH better!!

So I was doing my typical parts hunting for my Bronco Break series on YouTube (also because I'm obsessed and apparently have nothing better to do). Tonight's parts hunt found something I did not expect, and I'm sure many of you will be interested in it. So I'm sharing it now rather than waiting for the video.

Ford is now selling the HOSS 3.0 suspension kit standalone through Ford Performance! Comes with both front and rear coilovers, and a rear stabilizer bar. The wording in the product description suggests that it's intended for installation on a non-Sasquatch Bronco, but I don't see why you couldn't use it on a Sasquatch Bronco if you wanted—you just might end up with a stabilizer bar that probably matches the one you already have.

Just for some info those fox 2.5‘s are not really Ford product. I spoke with Fox the Jeep Jt has fox shocks that are junk because Dodge made Fox use there specs I had them and went with Fox 2.5’s. Ford let fox do it the right way and did not control the specs on the 2.5’s. Now at almost $3k I would probably go with fox or king 2.5’s unless you do not want to lift it more then an inch or what ever the Hoss Fox’s will give you then yuo might want a set of hardly used ones for almost half the price. I loved my Hoss Fox’s I just wanted more hight and really did not want to collar or spacer them.

Where are you guys finding WT Hoss 3.0 takeoffs for sale? FB? Ebay? I haven't seen a set in a wide radius in the few years I've been looking. I must not be looking in the right places.

This would be really a steal if it was at all ride height adjustable. Looking at the 2.5 Performance Series from Fox, 2” lift for SAS and reuses factory spring. $500 a pair.

So placing these on a Badlands 2.7 non-sas would I only net the .43" difference between Badlands non-sas and Wildtrak? I want to lift a bit (1.5-2" over SAS) and also move to a better coilover

I see the same drawback, though you could replace the springs or roll the dice and assume the 4 dr is a different part because the springs are set for a heavier vehicle.

I've got BL sas... would it not get any lift? I was hoping for 1.5" over sas

so I bought the coilover set from a guy on marketplace, taken off his 2023 wildtrak and installed on my 2024 big bend, both 4 doors.

I got slightly under 2” in the front and right around 1” in the back. Really improved my stance and ride quality. Running 285/70r17 falken wildpeaks on the (formerly, now standard SAS wheels) Everglades wheels. Was worried my 33s would look small with the lift but thankfully they look great.

Ford should give that for free to all the people who got duped by the rusty leaking junk on sasquach. So Ford further embarrasses themselves with a cheap junk diaper fix ! Extremely lame Ford !
