I'll be honest. I rented a jeep for 8 days in July while on vacation. I have 0 fucking clue why anyone would buy one anymore. It's a great example of lack of competition lead to complacency. I bet the percentage of people who could even get to the point where the IFS is "inferior" to a solid front axle off roading is so small, it's almost short sided marketing at this point. It's like having a worse experience for 99% of the time just so that 10 minutes of time goes an ounce smoother.
In my opinion, Jeep needs to cut $10k across the board to make up for the deficiencies compared to the bronco when it comes to every day life.
I think my favorite stupidity moment of the jeep was the fact that Android Auto requires a wired connection, but there is also no place on the console to put your phone when it's plugged in...
