I've found the GVWR of my 2dr, BD, 2.3/7speed to be 5640, but the chart I was looking at doesn't account for the sasquach package (I don't think). Anyone know how that number is effected by the sasquach package?
Deciding which winch to get.
I been reading a few posts here and there on bronco weight. I wanted to know how much does a base 4d 2.7 sasquash hardtop weight and will/can it be used as a tax write off for business owners/independent contractors. I do food delivery, and other things related to self-work. My old car has...
Can someone explain the GVWR for Badlands models?
This is something I didn’t notice until 22 B&P went live and some optional accessories were unavailable for the Badlands with forum members citing it would exceed that trim’s GVWR. If I can’t get something relatively light from the accessory...
...179 deduction and bonus deprecation deals are only available for an SUV, pickup, or van with a manufacturer’s gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) above 6,000 pounds that is purchased
“Heavy” SUVs, pickups, and vans used over 50% for business are eligible for the first-year Section 179...
Anyone know if it is possible to spec a 2 door to over 6000lbs GVWR?
I’m wondering how heavy the HD bumper and brush guard are and if it’s enough to push it over that magical number. :)
Not sure if this was mentioned, but it looks like the Bronco models with a GVWR over 6000 can be fully deducted for business owners. This makes my two FE purchases even sweeter.
...good payload Big Bend / base are best. Black Diamond Sasquatched is bad in payload, in fact worst than a sasquatched Badlands (thanks to higher GVWR rating for the Badlands). A good option is a Sasquatched Big Bend + mid package giving plenty of payload.
The V6 2.7 is heavy (152 lbs...
...in the build and price tool Ford does not know how many passengers you’ll be carrying so it assumes the maximum and subtracts this from the GVWR.
BRONCO VS. WRANGLER
For comparison, the 2021 Jeep Wrangler max payload for 4-door models ranges from 1,136 (Sport 3.0L Diesel) -1,351 lbs (3.6L...
Was asking Bronco Nation in their Instagram live post and was told that they were not able to show the gvwr and payload sticker for the Badlands 2dr white Bronco. Curious as to why this is the case. Anyone have a clue or have been told the same?
Started planning my circle of the Mitten state and started thinking about overlanding/camping. Between the Jeep and the bronco when it gets here later this summer, my goal is to get out at least once a month from April on and start doing some trail camping. If I succeed and do it regularly...
Is anyone concerned about their fat wife not being able to ride in the Bronco? We have to do all our off-roading trips solo (or maybe with a dog)? I know a 2" lift will keep most short wives out of the truck also. If we max out the accessories, will this also help keep our fat wives out of...
...family and Gear, or campers and overlanders, or towers or just anyone really should be concerned about the Bronco high weight and its likely low GVWR. The fact that the First edition can’t have a hitch, that Sasquatch can’t get a roof rack, and that a stock Badlands can’t either when you put...
As mentioned in the video, the way BnP is setup such that it locks you out of getting roof racks and sound deadening etc for certain builds, is the same way the ordering system is setup. We can’t order through Ford but will need to order through dealer.
so if you have a Day 1 reservation and...
With the Build and Price it’s pretty clear that there is a payload issue with this vehicle.
Is it safe to assume that the 1300lbs advertised payload is for a base model only, and that a Sasquatched Badlands 2.7 (with the heavier engine, steel bumpers, heavier axles and tires) will have a...
...on the forum on why certain accessories are not available on Bronco trims: like a Badlands with 4Doors, 2,7L, and Sasquatch - mostly pointing to GVWR being the issue. Accessories like PPF, roof racks, brush bar, sound dampening, etc. are not able to be added via the Build and Price tool (even...
So, we have all heard about the theory that GVWR is the reason certain builds cannot get certain accessories (i.e. roof racks on 4 dr. Sasquatch).
How much of a concern is this going to be for the casual DD? For example, if I get a BD with the 2.7, am I going to be able to safely put my family...
