  1. Ford acknowledges incredibly long delay.

Just received another bronco gift… pretty sure this is the first time it’s been addressed to “Or Current Resident.”
  2. I'm all in. - Selling my daily driver without a Bronco plan.

Whelp. That's it. I'm committed. I put my daily driver Jeep overlander up for auction with "No Reserve" and now I'm freaking out. What if I'm without a car for another 12 months until my Bronco comes in and then I can't afford it because my Jeep sold for $5.00? What if one of you who needs a...
  3. Chasing a U2 spy plane in a Bronco

When the U2 spy plane lands, a ground crew chases them in the runway to call out the height above the ground to the pilot. The Air Force has used official cameros and Pontiac G8s for this… at least from the last time I saw it… …but it looks like someone managed to sneak a Bronco in for some fun:
  4. Check out what Ford delivered to me a few days ago!

Nov 2021 Update... They did it again. These are the only two packages we've ever had delivered to the side deck (and not our front door). Totally soaked.
  5. Boron Steel Performance in Bronco Sport Under Jaws of Life

It’s been stated that big Bronco will include boron steel for strength in at least the roll bar. Here is a link to its performance in the Bronco Sport under rescue extrication. The rigidity is impressive: http://www.boronextrication.com/2021/05/30/2021-ford-bronco-sport-body-structure/...
  6. "The Ford Bronco was a Small Wonder"

Another fantastic Hagerty video, this one about the first generation Bronco: The original Bronco was a logic-based response to the Jeep CJ-5, Toyota Land Cruiser, and other 4x4s favored by aging, ex-GIs in the early 1960s who wanted creature comforts. And it was a massive success — in that very...
  7. 🍍 Pineapple For Scale

Submitted without comment.* *Pineapple for Scale
  8. Revisiting the "High Level Instrument Panel" Mystery [Update: There Is No Such Thing]

::UPDATE:: From Page 8 of this very thread: ::ORIGINAL POST:: This discussion started in another thread by @Lilj4425, @jaruss01 and @Beach_Bum , but I thought it was valuable to pull it out and get more eyes and data on it. Now that we are getting our hands on Broncos, we may be able to...
  9. First-Gen Bronco Buyer’s Guide Video from Hagerty

This buyer’s guide series from Hagerty is very good, and has spanned a few different types of collectible cars so far. When you’re done with this one you should check the other buyer’s guides... the Citroen 2CV one is particularly entertaining. And when you’re done with those you should...
  10. Reveal Bronco - Different Rear Suspension Components

I was just thumbing through old photos and realized that the reveal "Nintendo" Bronco has a different rear suspension setup. Obviously this is a totally custom built non-functional model.. and the adjustable coilover makes sense to also fine-tune how the mannequin looks... but I thought this...
  11. Look up your order details through the Ford.com website code.

Shout out to @BroncoRob_Reignited for pointing this out. The same way you can look at the source code of your Ford.com Order/Reservation page to find your exact timestamp, you are also able to dig into the code and see what your order is. ::UPDATE:: It appears people are having mixed success...
  12. 2021 Ford Bronco as a street rod? | Chip Foose Draws a Car - Ep. 25

In the interest of full disclosure; I think Chip Foose's design esthetic has come and gone... all of his vehicles look exactly the same... slam it... add HUGE wheels... then sell it to Hot Wheels. At least he stays "on brand."
  13. USPS announces the LLV replacement

If any of y’all are vehicle dorks like me, you may have been following this competition. USPS just announced they’re going with Oshkosh Defense for the NGDV. https://jalopnik.com/this-is-the-next-usps-mail-truck-1846339591 It’s so ugly, you know it must do the job well. They will be...
  14. Prototype Testing in AZ and NV - 2-door BL / BD (November 2020)

A little bird shared with me these never-before-seen pictures from November. They're from the same trip as the one where a forum member chased the team down for some early intel! https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/followed-2-broncos-and-got-to-see-marine-grade-vinyl-mgv-interior.9121/...
  15. “Bronco Dealer Playbook” describes MIC and MOD (Modular) top differences. Shows larger “Gunner’s Hatch” and confirms removable rear windows.

::UPDATE:: The legendary @LEGEND has chimed in later in this thread and confirmed the smaller hatch is in fact the correct hatch. To quote them exactly, the image of the larger hatch from the Dealer Playbook is “not from this universe.”...
  16. Known Cargo Dimensions (so far) for 2-Door and 4-Door Broncos

Hey guys. I made a thing based on what we know as of this point. I've been struggling jumping around to different references and photos supplied by other forum members, and I wanted to consolidate it into a reference for myself. Once I had made this sketch I figured I might as well share it...
  17. Turns out every A51 picture is accurate.

Whelp. Just saw my very first Area51 sport in person and I can report every picture of it has been accurate. These pictures were taken with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. They were taken within seconds of one another, at noon, on an evenly lit overcast winter day. After every shot at each angle, I can...
  18. Username reliably predicts likelihood someone will cancel their reservation.

At first I thought it was just a funny coincidence, but now that I'm paying attention it seems to hold true... It appears that if a forum member's username includes the word "bronco", they are statistically more likely to publicly announce their frustration with Ford, and to threaten or...
  19. B6G Forum Bingo

I had originally started with a drinking game to help cope with the same comments being made over and over again... But I quickly realized that participating in such a game would likely kill an otherwise healthy man in pretty short order. So instead I threw this together: Rule is you only...
  20. Second row windows (4-door)

Two things just occurred to me regarding the second row windows on the 4-door. 1. They roll all the way down, which is great. (Obviously more important considering the doors are frameless) 2. I’m shocked no one has complained about the little triangle in the corner yet.
