You need to request a copy of your order preview (DORA) from you dealer and be confirming that your options are correct and your priority code is correct. No other way to make sure everything is 100% accurate. Be proactive or be disappointed.

And I would add getting your dealer to forward you the COVP approval email they receive from Ford Program HQ.

I went to my dealer yesterday to convert my order over which originally was 2021. They gave me a copy of the DORA and purchase agreement as well as this morning I received an email from Ford with confirmation about my order.

Crossing fingers I made the cut to get scheduled in the first batch.

Mine said that last week even though I hadn't converted my order to 2023 until yesterday. I did get the standard your order was confirmed email this morning. I would think the email would be more accurate but who really knows. Ford's website isn't the most reliable source of info.

Mine are strange - Received order confirmation email from Ford. First link shows order is placed, second link showing that order in process and no green check yet.

Same here, but it was like that for my 2022 order as well. I prefer to believe in the one which shows two green checkmarks instead of one

I went to my dealer and dropped tow pkg as he showed me the system prompt as a restraint when it's added. he said they can install it at the dealership upon delivery... All I need is a hitch for bikes really. He said all existing orders are getting a vin by year-end... believe it when I see it.

We are going to go the same route. Just use for a bike rack.

I'm doing the same but might tow a small trailer here and there so found this video on the wire harness, looks pretty simple.

Anyone who dropped towing still see it on the backdoor site under the "Vehicle Details" drop-down at the bottom? The build sheet I signed with my dealer didn't have it but still listed here for some reason. The rest of the dealer updates are accurately reflected (updated color and re-added sasquatch and aux switches).

Nope, only works with a reservation in the system.

Vehicles haven't been scheduled yet, just previewed, which doesn't necessarily mean it will get built. Unless my Ford memories aren't as good as they used to be. Mine was not even previewed. Badlands mansquatch 2 door lux so that doesn't help... its been 2 years now...
