Aug. 30th build date.
Ordered in first hour of day one
Fully loaded badlands with a soft top. I switched to the soft top about 3 weeks ago as well knowing the MIC top would be an issue.

but…I am wondering if we miss out on the pre-installed hard top connection kit that is supposed to start with September builds. That might be nice to have…

Q: if I change to a soft top now does that still help my chances for this year with the news today or officially everyone that was originally a hardtop is screwed? I know I was supposed to get in the soft top a couple of weeks ago for September production. But what about October or November?

Just got mine. 7/14 Reservation with many of the commodity restraints and lots of DIO extra options and accessories. OBX, 4 Door Lux, SAS, 2.7, tow package. Swapped from Dual Top/Mod Top to soft top only in June. Looks like I’m going to be missing the mark for the hard top prep kit, oh well I’ll take it, lol.

Yes it will help your chances for this year depending on your reservation date.

Just from browsing the people posting they got emails, looks like virtually all upper trims? Maybe this forum just has more people with higher trims like outer banks/badlands

I’m never gonna see mine. Oct 12 reservation, 2 door badlands MIC 2.3 manual, cyber orange, non SAS, tow package, Lux package. YIKES

I have never read a single official word about mod bumpers being constrained.

I keep hearing BD speculators saying that, but nothing on a plain BD is constrained.

The brush guard has been since early on, it requires the Mod bumper, but it is not standard on Black Diamond.

You are probably correct as I forgot that the document posted on here a few weeks ago was for military ordering...now its just a decision if the $3000 increase between the BB and BD is worth the wheels/tire combo and MGV on the BD.

BL, Squatch, 2.7 auto, LUX, tow, soft top (made the switch from MIC a couple weeks ago), Cyber. Excited! I should get it just in time for our nice October weather here in NorCal, already planning a couple road trips and some off roading.
