I've been on "chip hold" for weeks now with no EDD. I'm seeing a lot of "tow package" being an issue. Is it possible that the "chip hold" is tow package related? Wonder if I call my dealer and tell them to remove the tow package if it would do anything? Wish they were specific on which chip was the prob.

Hell, no! If you "remove" the tow package, your Bronco will get it's missing chip in late April, then be driven 3 spots over, where it will wait until July for a tech with a wrench to show up and remove the hitch....

I asked my dealer the same question. Since I have vin and window sticker and on chip hold there is no way of dropping tow package

Feeling lucky I guess. Got the call, picking her up tomorrow. Almost a year since I placed the order. Not as bad as some I know, but I hope this isn't the new trend getting a new car. I am used to heading to the lot, picking what I like.

So now that it's Friday afternoon, did anyone in our group move beyond 'in production' this week?

It seems like there were some deliveries but those were at least marked as 'built' weeks ago. Another week of getting totally skunked makes these EDDs even less likely.

Yes I don’t believe I saw anyone come off ice mountain. Total BS

I'm aware of none this week, only the rows at ice mountain went from 2 to 5 wide in some cases. I'm sure that's why Ford removed the EDD.

I'm on chip hold, no tow package. It's a crapshoot, at best.
