It is their subconscious talking themselves out of one.

The only thing I don't get is there seems to be a decent amount of people complaining that it won't fit on trails/its only good for desert running....Isn't that kind of what all the Raptor vehicles are designed for? Isn't that what they are built for?

That's like complaining the GT350 wasn't a good drag car when it was built for road courses

What I like about those fender flares is that now my sasquatch fender flares looks skinny and no need to replace them anymore.

the 3.0 ST/Platinum is

Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI)

Am I reading this correctly? We assumed the Bronco Raptor would come with the same engine that's in the Explorer ST. My understanding is that the engine in the Explorer has an aluminum block. But per Ford's specs, the Bronco Raptor engine block is Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI) which is the same as the 2.7. So is this engine brand new for the Bronco Raptor?

As a current FE owner and #1 on the list at my dealer for a Bronco Raptor, I'm wondering how this is going to play out with regard to priority given to current res holders.

Congratulations to MY 23 Bronco owners, I bet the revamp instrument cluster will be available on all Bronco's by then.

Thanks for confirming. 👍 Most articles that I have read about the Explorer ST engine stated that it was aluminum. But I just found in Ford's specs that the Explorer ST is indeed CGI.

I would take this over the badlands if it was a door 2 a lot of thing on the raptor bronco I would put on the badlands so why not but no 2 door so guess it's time to steal the raptor part's 🤣 or hope 23's change a lot of stuff for the bronco. Would be cool if the tow got upgrade next year like the raptor did.

I’d get it if I didn’t mind the markup. I think the flares are fixable.

kick in the nuts to see the temp display in the knobs 🤣🤣

Because 400HP is underwhelming for a off road racer. Why not drop a 3.5L to compete with the 392 wrangler? Seems a bit lazy on Fords end.
I agree that the 3.0 was a bit lazy and quick, but..... Given the way this heavy ass thing will eat fuel, something bigger wouldn't get more than 12mpg most likely. Add to this, the fuel tank isn't as large as you can do with a pickup. Bet this is also why there isn't a 2 Dr version.

Overall, I'm not impressed with the lack of power as you and others are, but realistically, just don't see how they could pull more out of it. The Coyote was never going to happen for a production vehicle, but you always have a crate option if you just gotta have the V8.

Talked to dealer, was told that a email would be going out today to reservation holders and people who have a order. Email will be about how to convert reservation/order to raptor. So be looking for email if interested. Didn’t read through to see if this was posted.
