11/28/2022 Build Week

I hesitate to post this but, hey, I can take the heat.

My delivery estimate changed today, or last night, to three days earlier. It was between the 22nd and 28th, now the window is 19th-25th.

Waiting for the peanuts from the lower gallery....


I really have no idea where the vehicle is, I know it says shipped but other than that do not bother with Chat or asking the dealer for the info to track it via railroad. When it gets here, it gets here.

Looks like the vehicle has arrived at the dealer. Should be able to take possession on the 7th.

Got the "it has arrived" email from the dealer today, means it did arrive there yesterday. So, 898 days from reservation to delivery and 907 till I actually see it!

Got this response from my dealer today, pretty damn frustrating.
Keeps saying “not sure if it’ll be here by Christmas, we’ll see”… EDD changes, “may be here before the new year” etc.
If he knew they’re supposedly closed, why say that before? It’s ok not to know! I get it. But don’t bullshit me. I hate that I’m not an idiot.

Now crickets.

I’ll be curious when people who are in the same boat as us — those who have a shipped status, but no railcar # and the EDD keeps getting pushed back — finally start to see movement. My guess will be next week. I sort of suspected this past week we wouldn’t see any changes (I certainly haven’t) since I did see the plant was down the week of 12/26.

My blend was 12/1, shipped email 12/5 with EDD of 12/16-12/22, pushed to 12/20-12/26, pushed most recently to 12/28-1/3… but still no railcar# and I’m certain it’s still sitting in Michigan.

Anyone get a railcar number this week who has been waiting 3+ weeks like me? I’ve been following every page of this thread and haven’t seen any recently that I can recall. Praying next week we finally start to get railcar #s. By that point I’ll start to feel better!

I have a 11/29 blend date and a 12/1 build date. It supposedly shipped on 12/2 but my ETA just changed this morning to 12/31 - 1/6 as well. I think it is still in Michigan for some reason with no information as to when it will actually get on a train headed to the west coast. I suspect the ETA will get bumped again on 1/2 if prior bumps are any indication.

What a monumental abortion of a car buying experience this has been.

Got rail car number around 12/12-13
Called a few days ago checking on the rail car as it has been in Illinois for a couple weeks my number was unloaded and put in storage on the 29th so now, I have no idea or clue where my Bronco has gone.
Ford Chat updated ETA to another week out, was supposed to get week before Christmas, then week after now first week of Jan. Really hoping it shows up soon.

Noticed people having movement today on their trackers and wouldn’t you know it. I’m in Shipped Status finally. It’s a New Year Miracle. No email or anything just checked the tracker. Got my railcar from chat and found out it’s traveling via CSX.
