I just chatted with Ford. They told me no current holds for anything but it’s still
In production. With a current ETA of 2/2 - 2/8/23

BCM shows for mine but not PCM so does this mean it's waiting for a PCM?

Ford marketing confirmed I'm still on chip hold despite the fact that my status updated to built this morning. ETA is now 1/19-1/25 (moved back one day🤷‍♂️). I'm not too hopeful that the ETA takes into account the chip hold, seems way to optimistic but we'll see.

They suggested calling back on the 19th if I don't see a shipped notification by then and they should have more info.

Anyway, it would seem that having a built status does not indicate that you don't have a chip hold.
Mine was in exact same situation, i got my built email and i talked with ford chat and still on chip hold even after built email and tracker "built" update, after about 10 days it went off the chip hold

Thanks for the anecdote. Hopefully it's not much longer than that for me and others. I can live with 10 extra days.

Did you receive yours yet?

Mine now already says shipped!! How do I find out what train it’s on or if it’s coming via freight liner? How do I see the next steps??

It’s going to be here so soon!

Talk to your dealer or ford chat and get your rail car number from them then see if its CSX or any other company, call them and track it that why! Hope you see your bronco soon!

dealer didn’t know it shipped, and ford chat just flat disconnected. 😕
Give it 2-3 days and ask the dealer or ford chat, sometimes it takes couple of days for the system to update

Just drove it home! Both the bash plate and the engine skid plates are plastic. Dealer did a misbuild thing on it. Also a couple runs/drops with contamination bubbles on the door sill that I’m 50/50 on whether I want to pursue or not (still had him take pics) by far best dealership experience ever and they gave me msrp for my black Diamond trade in with 8k miles and made the price exactly match when I ordered it with a $250-300ish discount on top of price protection 2,845.

At this point every two extra weeks it takes means more money for a down payment so I'm trying to remain positive
That was literally my initial outlook. Until the used market started crashing fast.

I didn't want to sell my Jeep before because my luck I would have sold it and the dealer could have pulled something shady to screw me out of if. I don't think they will, but worst case I would have been without a vehicle I already enjoy.

The market makes things interesting, I found a 1998 Forester with 45k miles on it in a garage a few years ago so I'm not dependent on the trade in as not many people are clamoring for a 25 year old car! However, I'd like to get out of that, so I'm crossing my fingers my dealer keeps their word/signed paper work and I can get in the Bronc soon.
