The recall includes 64 different types and sizes of tire, so check the recall notice or the Nitto or Toyo websites to see if your tires are involved. Different sizes of Nitto Crosstek 2/LT, Dura Grappler, Exo Grappler, Mud Grappler Extreme, Recon Grappler, Ridge Grappler, Terra Grappler G3, and Trail Grappler are included in the recall, as well as Toyo Open Country A/T, Open Country H/T, Open Country M/T, and Open Country R/T. Toyo says to look out for localized rapid tread wear, increased noise, vibration, and/or bulging in the tread area.

Recall complaining cracks me up. Would you rather they didn't tell you? Sure, it would be great if everything was perfect out the door. But, it's not. Other auto makers have just as many problems. Most wait until they're forced to tell you. Especially foreign auto makers...don't kid yourself.

Huh…I wonder how/why the Toyo R/T Pros are not affected?

Pretty sure it's an old recall that was reissued, it says owners will be notified December 2023, and only 36,000ish tires were affected, so we're aren't even talking about many tires... And it's not a Ford recall.. I do have some nitro trail grapplers on my wife's gladiator, I checked them, they're not an effected size. I'd bet the only way anyone with a Bronco could be affected is if they replaced tires on a Bronco in late 2023...

Yep, thanks for reply. I called Discount tire and they told me it was tires after Jan. 25. Not shure he is correct. Guess we will see.

Complaining about complainers is just so.... tiring.

Getting a fresh set of tires for free isn’t the worst thing that can happen.

They were never going to last the life of the Bronco anyway. Take the W.

Probably too new, different compounds? The normal RTs aren’t in there either, just the trail rubber. Wondered how they figured that out?

@Fonz54 thanks. My son has Open Country M/Ts on his Jeep, though it looks like 35/12.5 17s are not in the list.
